Signature Dishes
Took away a packet of mixed Yam cake (80 cents) and Chee cheong fun (80 cents). The sauce was quite savoury and sweet but it didn't wow me. Probably because it was a takeaway that's why the sauce doesn't taste as good anymore as it was already cold. The yam cake was quite soft and doesn't really taste like yam cake. It almost has the same texture as the chee cheong fun except that it was thicker. If you're craving for traditional snacks like these, it should be able to satisfy your cravings.

Every morning, I see there was long queue at this Chee Cheong Fun stall at Bukit Timah Food Centre.Hence, I queue about fifteen minutes for a plate of Chee Cheong Fun.The uncle of the stall was stationed at the food steamer and cutting of Chee Cheong Fun into smaller pieces. The auntie was stationed behind stall where she scoop the sauces, 3 different types onto the Chee Cheong Fun. The Chee Cheong Fun tasted smooth and slippery, somewhat similar to the Chinatown Simth Street Food Centre stall. The sweet sauce taste good, it was a special taste where you do not usually get from other Chee Cheong Fun stalls.

After having Katong Laksa and Otah, i wanted something extra to share with my Partner. I happened to walk past this stall. They have already sold out the Chee Chong Fong and left only a few pieces of yam cake. I went ahead to order just 2 and requested them to separate the chilli and sweet sauce. The yam cake got very little taste of dried shrimps and the texture was a little firmer with a nice taste of yam. But i would very much prefer the texture to be softer. If you are not too fussy then their yam cake is not too disappointing.
