Signature Dishes
While waiting at The Basil Inn for our food, we were so hungry we decided to get some otah from the stall next to it (we notice many others doing the same). The otah was warm and quite alright, wasn't spicy but I preferred it that way. The size of otah was average as well, not the big ones where fish meat is distinct. The otah here wasn't too salty, but couldn't quite taste the fish meat.

Brought a couple of the spicy otah as a extra dish for dinner. The otah is well prepared and cooked, soft and smooth texture, no fish bone found. For the taste wise, it is not too spicy, nice aroma and no fishy taste. The otah also has a nice light red colour, no sign of the charcoal colour found on the otah. The otah come off easily with a push and no fish meat is stick onto the otah stick itself.

This otah here has really fresh fish paste used in it which does not have any stingy smell or taste in it at all. The otah pasre is smooth and also not too oily. But do take note that it may not look spicy but actually is quite spicy and may notbe suitable for those who cannot take too spicy food. The different types of spicies used in it has really enhanced the taste and i should say this may be my favourite otah so far.
