Was very much attracted by its tartar sauce the previous time I patronized this stall and thus, I'm back for its Fish & Chips. For a plate of $6 Fish & Chips, there's two piece of fish, garlic bread, baked beans, coleslaw, french fries and of course, its famous fruits tartar sauce. The fish is fried till golden crispy, outer batter is very crispy while the fish inside is very soft, suitable for all ages. The fish is fried till golden crispy, outer batter is very crispy while the fish inside is very soft, suitable for all ages. The garlic bread was toasted lightly and the garlic smell and taste is very fragrance, really good. As for the baked beans and coleslaw, quite normal. The french fries is very crispy as well, much better as compared to other western food stalls. Its fruit tartar sauce is actually the killer. When accompanied with the fish or french fries, it gives a unique sour yet sweet taste. It goes well with the garlic bread as well.
Other than Fish & Chips, they do serve dishes like Chicken Chop, Chicken Cutlet and even Siziling hot-plates as well. The price ranges from $5.00 to $10.00, which is very reasonable for the portion and quality of the food. Worth a try when you're in the vicinity.
