I can't really tell the difference between soya beancurds such as lao ban, 51,69.etc. One thing good about this 69 soya beancurd is that they fill the beancurd to the brim. I've noticed that other beancurds usually leave some allowance at the top but only 69 soya beancurd makes sure customers get the quantity. Besides that, the quality is there too. It tasted about the same as lao ban, with minimal difference. The beancurd is smooth and glides down my throat easily. Will buy again

Having tried their chilled beancurd which was not bad (but not the lychee flavoured one), I was thirsty and so I got the soyabean drink. It was a rather small cup for its price, could be more generous with the amount since soyabean is quite cheap and selegie soyabean is just a couple of stalls away. Soyabean was not very rich, I have tasted nicer ones before, but the sugar level was just nice, not too sweet.

On my previous visit I tried the almond flavoured chilled beancurd, so I wanted to try something different this time round. I was torn between the yam and lychee flavoured one, and finally decided to try the lychee flavoured one - all flavoured chilled beancurd costs $1.50, so no harm trying new flavours. However, turned out that i made a bad choice, as the lychee taste was not strong, and it tasted somehow weird, like cough mixture. Not recommended to try the lychee one.

This is yet another cold soya beancurd stall which has a variety of flavours - lychee, yam, almond, passionfruit; all at $1.50; but the green tea flavoured one is $2. 69 Cold Soya Beancurd is different from 51, and another stalls with numericals (what's with the numbers??). I bought the Almond flavoured one (that explains the "A" on the container); taste-wise, lao ban and 51 is still better, but 69 is also acceptable, one of the better average ones. almond taste wasn't that strong though. 69 Cold Soya Beancurd seems to be doing a brisk business at Kovan Food Centre. But it's not due to a lack of competition from other rivals like Lao Ban. Rather, their strength lies in the number of flavours being offered. I tried the original and it tasted great without being too hard. One can basically drink the bean curd. I also tried the almond flavour, but the almond taste was not that strong. All for the same price for 1.50 each.

Cold soya beancurd from 69 makes a great supper! I was being recommended by a fren that the strawberry and mango beancurd are super delicious hence I bought some home to try.I'm rather surprised to come across the wide varieties they have here. Flavours like green tea, durian etc.... Being the playsafe type of people, I opt for almond beancurd. Wow...what i can say is "almost drinkable soya beancurd" It taste something like lao ban dou hua where it's smooth and silky. Delicious and not so sweet
