This is one of my favourite places to patronise for a good cheap meal. 8 Immortals has a couple of branches across singapore and takes pride in cooking food that leaves the foodies coming back for more delights! This time, I ordered the vegetarian fried rice. The wok hei fried rice was cooked to perfection with yummy greens, char siew and mixed vegetables which made the dish so colourful and pretty! The char siew was chewy and tasted good. The vegetables were all well cooked and the dish was bursting with flavour. One of the best fried rice dishes I have had in a long time. I had a ball of a time digging in and will be back to try new dishes. It went very well with the tangy spicy sambal chilli and additional soya sauce at the side Customers could also request for complimentary soup to wash it down
