Introduction
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has grown into one of the largest privately-owned, family-run coffee and tea companies in the world. Along the way, The Bean, as it is affectionately known, has become the model for a successful coffee and tea company. The coffee is roasted fresh daily in small batches in a manual European roast style, then packed using state-of-the-art equipment for shipment in the roasting facility and delivered fresh daily to the stores. continue reading

Had breakfast with my mom at Coffee Bean on a Sunday morning. We went there early around 8.30am as we expected a large crowed but the place was so empty, just one or two persons in the cafe. The crowd started forming around 9plus am.All breakfast set included a drink, choice of coffee or tea, with free refills till 11am. When I saw the breakfast menu, I knew I had to try the Salmon Scramble set ($8.90) as I'm a die-hard salmon and eggs lover! I ordered for my mom a Brek "O" Day Set ($8.50) and top up a little more to try the Scottish Breakfast Tea Cappuccino. I find that the tea cappuccino tasted more or less like the yin yang milk tea, not much of coffee taste. The Brek "O" Day set consist of chicken chipolata sausages, scrambled eggs, salad, and toast with butter and jam. The Salmon Scramble set consist of scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on toast and salad. The salad tasted really good! It's a combination of lettuce, cherry tomato, dried cranberries and toasted almond flakes tossed in a light lemon juice and oil dressing. Even my mom who dislikes vegetables actually agreed with me and happily finish the whole salad. Overall, it was a good experience continue reading

I ordered the Coffeeb Bean Xmas Party which cost $40 for 20 pieces. If order online it cost only $32. It consist of 4 types of Sweet Xmas cakes in mini version. They are Mini Stollen, Mini Linzer Tart, Mini Chocolate-Mint Tart, and Virginia Brownie. Each type has 5 pieces. Mini StollenIt looks like swiss roll but has bits of raisins in the center. I could not taste the Mazipan and found it a bit dry.Mini Linzer TartThis is like almond cake sandwich with raspberry jam. The jam gives it a tart taste to the crumbly cake.Chocolate-Mint TartI like the chocolate tart in the shape of a min teacup with smooth chocolate and a hint of mint. I like this best among the sweet choices.Virginia BrownieThe chocolate brownie is rich with chocolate and a decorated with a red and white mushroom decorations. All the sweet snacks has Xmas decoration on top. The best decoration is the Santa Claus with different poses on top of the Chocolate-Mint Tart. This is a nice Xmas party pack which lets us try different Xmas Goodies in small portions. One pack is good for small family to share or for Office Party. You can order multiple pack if bigger group. continue reading

This is a great place to grab a drink and snack food, sit down, chill out and read a magazine or book. I always order their ice blended mocha and it's heavenly! The ingredients are just nice! And the taste is just nice. Not very sweet, not very bitter, just nice. The raspberry muffin is also another must-have. The wonderfully baked muffin has a soft and fluffy interior and fresh raspberry that blends well and lingers in your mouth. continue reading

came here to study on a weekday afternoon. it was quite a quiet environment to study at as there are not many people around. ordered the ice mocha to accompany me while i study over there. felt that the ice mocha is not very nice as it seems quite diluted. -.- plus it is quite expensive as compared to their rival competitor. continue reading
