Ordered their fried rice. Fragrant and flavourful, it is served warm and prompt. Cooked with springy fresh prawns and fried with egg, the rice doesn't taste hard, like other places' fried rice. There are also a couple of cashew nuts placed on top of the rice, making the whole dish quite presentable. However, it is not quite different from the chinese style of fried rice. Nevertheless, will definitely return again one day to enjoy it! continue reading

Must try the seafood fried rice in this thai restaurant. Their fried rice consists of prawns, sotong, eggs and with generous slices of cucumber. Their ingredients was very fresh but price abit pricey. But it was well worth it. Fried rice was very very fragrant and super nice. Can't stop eating the rice )As for the mango with glutenous rice, the mangoes was very sweet and nice. Eating together with the glutenous rice and coconut was a perfect match in heaven. Give it ten out of ten score. Must try this A-Roy thai restaurant cause you won't live to regret having dine there before ) continue reading

It was my first time at this A Roy Thai Restaurant. My friend bought me there as the food reviews on this restaurant were very good. We ordered a pineapple fried rice, a kailan with oyster sauce and thedeboned chicken wings. The pineapple fried rice was very well cooked, a bit sweet with pork floss on top of it and four big fresh prawns at the side. The kailan was very fresh and not overcooked. The oyster sauce was just nice, not too salty. There was no bitter taste in the kailan. As for the chicken wing, it was so nicely fried to a crispy golden brown colour. The outer skin of the chicken wing was so crispy and tasty. The meat inside was moist and stuffed with other ingredients. Wow...indeed the food was very nice. Never regretted going to this restaurant. Saw from the receipt that they have another outlet at Funan Centre. So that will be the place for our Christmas lunch. Yummy. continue reading
