My girlfriend and i went to marina square to catch a movie after the movie ended we headed to the food court for dinner. I settled for A1 porridge stall. I was surprised with their pricing. Most of their non-porridge dishes actually cost up to seven plus dollars. I ordered their sesame chicken and that cost me a good $7.50. you could really feel the pinch upon making payment. The portion was so so, the gravy had strong sesame taste so it tasted delicious. there were quite a lot of chicken all of

I ordered their hot plate toufu, it was their sole promotion dish. the portion of the hot plate toufu was pretty large, served on the normal hot plate. However, I counted there were not many pieces of toufu in the dish. there was one prawn which was sliced into half. The meat was not juicy and succulent, it kind of stuck to the shell. There were a lot of onion. The onions made the dish taste a lot sweeter and tastier. As a whole I found it so so only, if you ask me to pay for original price of t

The claypot food from this stall is pretty expensive. I ordered their sesame oil chicken and it cost me $7.50. however I felt that the flavours were worth the cost. The gravy was so thick and tasty. It was on the sweetish side. It went absolutely well with the rice. the chicken were marinated perfectly in the gravy. The meat was so tender. There were some pieces that were solely meat itself while others had bones. They also added black fungus into the dish. It was pretty unique to me but it work

Absolutely enjoyed this dish, if only it was a little cheaper.

great creamy smooth porridge. very well stirred and obviuosly cooked for a very long time. a bit too salty. had century egg added to mine for extra $0.50. it made the porridge really super rich. love the peanuts in the porridge. overall a nicely balanced porridge. very big bowl and quite filling. love that it is so thick and the grains are all broken. did not have to wait too long as service was fast and efficient. however the starting price is a bit much for just a bowl of rice boiled down. sta

This stall serves delicious congee and hotplate and zhi char at very affortable price. The Hong Kong style congee served in hotpot is a delicious mixed of sliced fish, fresh cuttlefish, braised peanuts, ikan bilis and yu tiao.I like every mouthful of this congee but dislike the yu tiao as it's soft and smelled oily and it will certainly have spoiled the wonderful taste of the congee if eaten with this not crispy and not fragrance yu tiao had i not removed the yu tiao from the congee.
