Phad Thai Fried Noodle with Prawn Tom Yam Seafood Soup
Review (12)
Combination of aromatic spices that satisfy my tongue, I like Thai cuisines. My friend brought me here, Absolute Thai offered mainly authentic style of foodies. Cozy and spacious, thus it was not too crowded at the moment we arrived. Service was prompt and friendly, our food was served within 20 minutes. My order was the most signature Thai dish, my favourite always. The soup was seemingly very hot and spicy, but in fact not really. Full of ingredients, the broth was thick and savoury. Kway Teow remained transparently springy, texture was awesome. Sufficient portion, it was $12.00 each bowl. Slightly expensive for me, price indicated was excluded 7% GST and 10% Service Charge. continue reading

Phad thai: it was quite dry and but the taste was good and was mildly spicy. my friend didn't like the raw beansprouts but I liked it as it gave a crunchy texture to the dish. The prawns were fresh Tom yum soup: very spicy and was too thick to my liking. there was a good balance of sourness and spiciness though.Pandan leaves wrapped chicken: love this because the chicken meat was very tender and flavourful however it was quite oily just like other thai restaurants. We waited for 15 minutes for food to arrive even though it was not crowded. continue reading

The FoodI ordered the Fried beancurd and basil leaves, Phad Thai Rice Noodle seafood ($12) and Tom Yum Seafood soup ($10)The rice noodle is thin kuay tiao with fresh and succulent small prawns served with generous portion of crunchy bean sprouts, with a tinge of spiciness and not so oily. As for the Tom Yam Seafood Soup, the prawns and squids are fresh and the soup's hot & sourness just nice and very appetizing. The fried beancurd also very crispy on the outside and the inside is very soft and looks very appetizing with the basil leavesThe PriceReasonably priced at around $40++ for the final bill.OverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this! continue reading

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night! The pad thai was quite tasty, with generous toppings of prawns beancurd and bean sprouts. The added condiments of peanuts and lime on the side add to the overall flavour of the dish too! The noodles are cooked to the right consistency, not too hard nor soft. Only qualm is that the dish is quite oily leaving a greasy mouthfeel! continue reading

Thai food here is pretty good despite being a little oily for some dishes. I really liked the mango salad which was fresh and tasty. The salad had multiple flavours of sweet salty sour and spicy typical of thai dishes which was a refreshing change to our usual Chinese dishes. Served cold this was a great pick me up on a hot day. The crunch of the cashew nuts was really delightful as a contrast against the mango slices! continue reading
