The store sells a few things that aren't very malay such as 'chezzy fries' (Cheesy fries), and mutton/chicken chop (that looks western). We ordered the Ikan bilis fried rice and it took quite a while to come, however, the plate arrived fresh from the pan and was hot. Overall, it felt rather salty, so I think it's a good idea to order a plate and share amongst other dishes available in the food court.Qualms I have about the place is that 1) the food takes quite a while to come 2) there are no pri

Qualms I have about the place is that
1) the food takes quite a while to come
2) there are no price listed on the signboard, so you have to resort to asking the man who delivers your food.

Last night, we visited this old haunt after many years.
The layout of the stalls had been changed and the ambience did not seem quite the same as in the past.
Nevertheless, we decided to sample the fare from this stall, that has been an all-time favourite for Fried Bee Hoon (Bee Hoon Goreng) and Fried Rice.
It was not a very busy evening and there were many empty tables.
The order was taken, prepared and served within 5-10 minutes.
However, the taste was not quite like what we had expected.
It was just OK. In the past, the Fried Bee Hoon here was one of the best.
There was a generous dose of mutton in the dish, but there were hardly any other ingredients.
The noodles were also too dry and there was just something missing from the taste; though we couldnt figure just what it was,
The Fried Rice was a little better, though.
In addition, the condition of the food centre was another contentious issue.
It was not as clean as other food centres that I had been to.
Overall, it was not what we had expected, but it was okay.
