I had a habit of eating dessert after meal and found this stall while shopping with my friend.The are a lot of varieties and we took a long time to decide our orders.We had picked Yam paste & Durian mango sago. The yam paste was super duper nice! The mango is super duper thick, and the portions of the sago and pomelo is also quite a lot. Very addictive. Good combination, it will get you craving for more and more. It is a good place to spend some time with friends or family to have dessert here. Mango Sago Pomelo- Love this especially the creamy mango purée and the mango cube and sago...adding pomelo which taste abit sour which makes at perfect dessert.Steamed Egg Ginger- The ginger is not so strong. Occupied two shops next to each other, the business of Ah Chew Dessert was getting better. The queue was always there along the corridor, don’t be surprising. One of my friends recommended us to try the desserts here! Looking at the menu, I can say that Ah Chew Desserts have the widest range of fresh hand-made hot & cold, traditional and modern desserts! We shared a cold Mango Pomelo and an Avocado Milkshake. I love the Mango Pomelo! It consist of creamy mango puree, mango cubes and sago and then topped with pomelo pulp and bits of ice. After having dinner at bugis area, me and my friend went to to Ah Chew Desserts for Supper since they open till late. Was here before and i have decided to try something else so i had black glutinous rice with vanilla ice cream and peanut paste. It taste really good! The vanilla ice cream blends well with the warm black glutinous rice. Both of us like it alot and each of us only pay around $3 for it since we shared. Very value for money

What i love about ah chew dessert the most is it open till late night. Was craving for some nice desserts after dinner so we came here.I ordered Mango Pomelo, which cost SGD$4.00 ( no gst nor service charge ). You have to order at the counter and pay first before the staff serve you with your dessert after that. Overall, the mango dessert is thick and sweet. Very nice. The pomelo is a bit sour to my liking but it is still alright.

It is always the traditional desserts that we will always craving for Asians. Ah Chew desserts are no strangers to Singaporean for its famous desserts. People are flowing in and out from the dessert shop located at Liang Seah street. Ah Chew occupies 2 shops next to each other and has doubled their sitting capacity. The Mango Sago with Pomelo is definitely a must order here. It is flavourful and the serving is big. They are not stingy with the amount as well as loads of bits of mango filled the bottom of the bowl. Recommended to have it with the sour pomelo!The Original Fresh Milk Steamed Egg is an another must try. It is smooth and full of taste.
