This is a heartland hawker centre. Many people living or working in the area come here to dine. There's a lot of old school heartland shops around here, but not much to see. There is a decent amount of parking space. We ordered the Wanton Mee and Horfun here. The wanton mee's charsiew meat was a little disappointing in the sense of portion, but the noodles and the taste wise it was pretty alright. The Horfun was very smooth and the fried wanton was really crispy, which comes down to one question of inconsistency between same ordered plates but 2 sizes of wantons. The staff was speedy and prompt delivery upon payment. continue reading
Went to the market for brunch on sat morning. Most of the stalls have long queues, this is the one with acceptable people in front of me.Had tried their fish wantan before (these can be bought home raw and to be boiled as soup)So decided to try their hor fan. The noodles look good, but it seems to early for noodles.Hmmm nothing very extraordinary but it is a staple food and wantan filling is nice with crunchy water chestnut within the fish paste ;) continue reading
