明明有一週時間待在新加坡,應該做到看到更多的事與物 不過還是與友人悠閒四逛自在一點,反正這麼就近總有再訪的機會 直至最後一天上機之前我們仍在趕路,拖著行李來到機場附近的樟宜村小販中心 七天過去,而美食清單上的項目卻沒消去,但是來到美食廣場就一次過可以嚐到不同滋味 01-67 A 阿南燒烤海鮮.蒸魚 Ah Nam BBQ Seafood.Steamed Fish友人神神秘秘地帶來一碟滿是紅通參巴醬的菜式,實是新加坡熱門小食--燒烤魔鬼魚遑論以不同煮法調味製作,連魔鬼魚這食材也沒有多少機會一遇魚肉細滑而軟彈,沒有腥味,稠醬的辣只限於表面,不會過份影響原本的食味魔鬼魚帶有微脆細軟骨,質感獨特;最後由本來聽名就擔心太奇怪,到現在卻念念不忘呢 樟宜村小販中心 2 Changi Village Rd, Singapore 500002 continue reading

If you like BBQ stingray, you may want to try this stall when you visit Changi Village. This stall physically occupies two stalls at the newly renovated Changi Village. I think the stingray is only somewhat fresh because I can still taste the fishiness in the stingray. The BBQ stingray also seemed slightly overcooked with some parts of the meat rather hard. I like the sambal sauce though because it has a tinge of sweetness. continue reading

I was craving for stingray and Ah Nam was the only stall I spotted in Changi Village hawker that has BBQ seafood (or perhaps I didn't look hard enough). The smallest portion costs $10, which is considered alright given the size of stingray served. The most crucial thing about bbq stingray is, I think, the chilli, and the one from Ah Nam fails to impress - it tastes like any normal chilli. Couldn't say that the stingray meat is the freshest either. Found it hard to finish the tough meat (and brownish in colour for certain parts). continue reading
