The dish lacked of ingredients, there were only a couple of small cubes of potato, some stalks of spring onion and bean sprouts. A couple chunks of cucumbers with tomato ketchup were added to the dish. There is no char on the noodles to give a smoky flavour. The traditional ingredients of mutton and canned green peas were missing. The only power of the Mee Goreng is the bright red colour of the fiery sambal sauce. Priced at S$3.50 per plate.
