It seems that I'm craving for ramen like 90% of the time. This time I went to Ajisen Ramen at Junction 8 because the outlet here seems to be more peaceful than elsewhere. Got their ramen sets which came with the drinks, where are pretty much standard. My buddy got himself the Chicken Teriyaki Ramen Set ($13.90) for which he picked the fried cuttlefish as his side dish. This ramen is dry but the teriyaki sauce tasted delicious, not too salty but did gave the firm springy ramen a finishing edge. T

I went with my long time friend to Ajisen Ramen for lunch. We both ordered our own ramen and also got two sides to share, the ageshi tofu and fried chicken. Food should not be too complex. Ajisen Ramen serves up acceptable ramen at pocket-friendly prices. I liked my ramen, with the bean sprouts very very crunch and the soup broth rich and delicious. The carrots were also surprisingly fresh and the soft-boiled egg was very well done. I will certainly be back for more for a quick and fuss-free lunch set that is not painful on the pocket.

Ordered scallop ramen set which come with choice of side dish and a drink. Portion of scallop given was generous! Soup was delicious, I finished every drop of it! If you like your ramen with spice, you can always ask for chilli oi and chilli pepper. Ramen came with half an egg and tou gei too. Anyone, Tom Yum and Ramen? Well, this unique combination really caters to the tastebuds of Singaporeans. The spicy and sour tom yum soup base is really nice and it improves one's appetite. This is the dory fish tom yum ramen and i must say the dory fish provided was really very generous. The fish is soft and smooth and it melts in your mouth. Went ajisen to have dinner with my friend. They do have the set meal for their lunch time and dinner time, which i will always order the set as i find it rather worth while. For the set, you can choose a main ramen, a side, and a drink. The hit green tea is refillable. i ordered the Volcano ramen. For me i do not really find it too spicy, i find it acceptable and ok, because i can take spicy food. The soup is tasty, and noodles are cooked till perfect.

I've been a loyal and regular customer of Ajisen since many years back when I first discovered it. What I love about Ajisen's ramen is the noodle that they use that I can never find elsewhere! Their portions are generous yet affordable. We ordered the Pork Curry Ramen and a Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. The deep fried squids here is really crispy and juicy. The texture is really chewy and you will be surprise on how tasty this deep fried squids is. The batter used to dip on it before deep frying is slightly fluffy and not too thick. The mayonise sauce that has been spread on it taste refreshing, quite creamy and sweet. Although the presentation looks simple, but it certainly taste great!

My first time heard of this Black ramen so i decided to try it.Ajisen was having their promotion for 1for 1 new black ramen so i went with my mum. We have chosen seafood and pork black ramen.I was disappointed with the soup base as it taste quite bitter. I'm not sure it taste originally like this. Some black colored sediments were found in the soup which i think caused by the burnt soup base. I'm chicken wing lover. One day my sister and me passed by Ajisen and discovered their 1 for 1 chicken wings for Citibank credit card holder so i decided to try with my sister.Their chicken wings are very crispy and freshly fried to just nice. Chicken are tender and juicy. I find it slightly oily but what surprised me was the lemon. The purpose of the lemon juice help to relieve the oily feeling plus add lemon fragrance to the chicken wings which i think is a superb idea.
