Ramen is Ajisen standard. tasty soup and cooked-just-nice ramen. The side dish sotongs not that nice but their fried tofu is good.

Would opt not to eat if restuarant is full the next time or rather go to other outlets.

Suddenly have a craving to eat Ramen so went to the nearest Ajisen Ramen to satisfy my craving. Ordered their hot favourite and most common Char Siew Ramen. Suddenly have a craving to eat Ramen so went to the nearest Ajisen Ramen to satisfy my craving. Ordered their hot favourite and most common Char Siew Ramen.

Love their chewy and springy ramen coupled with their tonkotsu soup. Pork bones are the main ingredients added to enhance the flavor producing the white, milky broth. Japanese Char Siew Ramen is much different from our Chinese Char Siew Noodle or most commonly known as Wan Tan Mee. The Char Siew in the Ramen comes in big slices and is not bbq. There is a mix of some fatty meat in every slice.

Though it's a sinful meal with all the fatty meat and fattening soup, this Char Siew Ramen did quench my craving.

The vegetable ramen has a very colourful presentation and is a healthy dish. The ingredients include cabbage, carrot strips, corns, seaweed, mushroom and golden needle mushroom. The soup gives a refreshing feel but one can also taste the strong vegetable taste in the soup. I think this is good for the body once in a while. I love the mushroom and golden needle mushroom as they are very soft and crunchy. The set meal also comes with a fried beancurd. The beancurd is wrapped with some kind of skin

The beancurd is wrapped with some kind of skin to fry so that the beancurd will not disintegrate. Though it is fried, the beancurd still feels very soft on the inside.

I was walking around with a couple of friends over the weekend at clementi mall and we decided to head to ajisen for lunch. I saw something new on their menu which I did not see at other branches. I ordered the gong bao ramen. The soup is really tasty, you can really taste the gong bao flavour. It is really nice and delicious, nice introduction into the menu.

i went at about 8 plus on a Friday night, apparently everywhere in clementi was packed with people, so I queued for ajisen. I was feeling really tired and thirsty from a day’s work so my friend and I decided to queue for the first restaurant we saw. When it was finally our turn, we were seated down and given a menu each. I know they are really busy, but look at one cup, the green tea was so little, it was as though someone took a big gulp. I will only visit them when it is less crowded.

I went to tryout the Ajisen Ramen At the newly open Clementi Mall. Personally, i'm a fan of ramen and this is my first time to the clementi mall.

Customer service is really bad, I could recall. The space is really small to accomodate most of the customers. I remember shifting my table 2 times, just so that the incoming group of customers could have more space or rather join tables. In the end, the space between me and the other table was barely a space at all. I was so near that I could hear every line they were saying! It wasnt not comfortable.

FOod wise, it's the same for all the ajisen ramens i have eaten at other outlets. But im surprised, they dont have enough saucer for their chilli and vinegar around!! The waitress once came to me and asked if im done with the entire tray of chilli sauce, salt and pepper. I replied that I wasnt done with my meal and she gave me a disappointed look, which made me feel horrible for the rejection. It made me ponder if the saucer on my current table was her only hope to serve her new customer.

Paying the bills took quite awhile too. I ordered their special promotion item - Spicy miso, which cost only $6.90 before gst. So price was good then.

Overall, i could only say it is a new outlet. I should give it some time to grow before visiting it again. If i ever thought of going back..
