went over to ajisen to have my dinner with my friends, and i ordered the ramen set which includes a ramen, drink, and a side dish. I chose volcano ramen and i recommend this ramen to all people who enjoys or able to take spicy food. For the side dish, i chose the drief white fish. I think the white fish is the nicest side dish among all the others, on the outside you can taste the crispy skin, and the fish inside does not taste dry or tough.

The ramen was soft, smooth and authentic. The soup was sour and spicy and is definitely a good dish to have when you are having a bad appetite. The portion was big and definitely value for money. There are several seafood included and this makes it even more worth to try it out. The environment is suitable for chilling out and also if you want to have a quiet meal. The service is quite good too.

Every time i'm at ajisen i'll definitely try out a new flavor of gyozas. I ordered for the homemade gyoza and it was pretty disappointing when it was served. The gyozas looked skinny, as though it has shrunk. The fried skin of the gyoza is very hard to chew on and the skin is pretty soggy. The insides of the gyoza are pretty dry for a gyoza. I do like the salty taste to it though.Considering other Japanese restaurants in the Jurong Point's Japanese street also sell 5 gyozas at $3.90 and actually

Considering other Japanese restaurants in the Jurong Point's Japanese street also sell 5 gyozas at $3.90 and actually taste way better, i wouldn't recommend Ajisen's gyozas.

My mother and i decided to grab lunch at ajisen. I was craving for some ramen but considering i don't like seafood or pork and their ramen are either seafood or pork, i wasn't all that thrilled to see their menu. I ordered for the paiku ramen, which costs $11.00. You can add on a couple of dollars to have a side dish. The staff were very thoughtful and had automatically served the paiku ramen with a small bowl. I took the paiku (pork ribs) immediately after it was served. I loved the fried layer

I loved the fried layer of the pork ribs which was slightly salty. The pork rib itself is very dry and hard (probably visible from the picture). To make matters worse, the ramen wasn't like normal. The was kind of overcooked so it tastes like some cheap ramen. The soup was good though.

I definitely didn't like it and didn't find it worth the money. I definitely will NOT recommend anyone wasting their money on this ramen. All it does is fill you up with dissatisfaction.

The family went to ajisen for dinner. I could not decide what to order cos everything on the menu looks so appetizing. I finally ordered the paiku ramen. The paiku was a little oily, had quite a lot of fat, a little unhealthy. There was a lot of bones as well, so the lean mean is quite limited. I should have just order the cha siew ramen. But nevertheless, the soup was tasty and delicious.

I went to ajisen for dinner yesterday. Since I could not decide what to have, I ordered their aso ramen. Apparently their anniversary special lasted for so long and their aso ramen and spicy ramen actually increase price by one dollar. Their aso ramen only have one piece of meat, quite pathetic.they should just leave the price at $6.90.

Ajisen ramen does offers really delicious ramen! I went there with a couple of friends the other day to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Apparently they have changed the menu from the last time I visited. They got some Hei ramen where the soup is mysteriously black in colour. I was not so adventurous so decided to stick with the more common one. I ordered the tan tan ramen, the soup was mildly spicy, it has a “ball” of minced meat and one piece of char siew. The minced meat tasted exceptionally sweet, making the soup taste sweet too.

A friend order the spicy char siew ramen, I notice that it looked somewhat similar to mine, but his had more pieces of char siew, but apparently his soup is not sweet unlike mine. Both tasted good, leaving you spoilt for choice whenever you go there to eat!

The service was really good, didnt wait long before my food was served. the ramen was not really spicy but the soup was indeed tasty. the presentation of the dish was also really good, making it look really appealing. it had minced meat and 1 sliced of char siew with half an egg the noodle portion was really large and i could only finish 3/4 of it. i order a set meal so it came with a side dish. i chose the baby octopus. i like the way they marinate it,very sweet.

As a whole i would think that this meal is indeed fulfilling!

After a tiring day of outings, the four of us went to Ajisen Ramen at Jurong Point for our dinner. As for the ala carte, all of us ordered different ones (namely, tempura, fried chicken, silver fish and white fish) and shared among ourselves.

When the food arrived, after snapping some pictures of the food, we started to savour the food without any delay. See the pictures attached above. Aren't you salivating now?

For me, what makes a good ramen is the soup. (Of course, I'm not a food gourmet or food connoisseur and this is just my opinion.) The soup base of ramen at Ajisen is nice and not too salty. And i finished every single drop of it!

The environment was a bit noisy as it was crowded, particularly with students since JP is the favourite hang out place for NTU students. Ooh...how i missed those carefree student days.

P/S: With the sprouting of so many ramen shops in Singapore, I still prefer Ajisen Ramen. You may say I'm old skool or maybe even sentimental. Or maybe the price is ok and not that expensive when compared to other high-end ramen shops. (I think this is the main reason. Haha.)
