Akashi sashimi set contains a soup, dessert and main dish. The main dish comes with salmon sashimi, prawns, octopus and sushi rolls. They are really fresh and sweet. Miso soup is thick and flavourable. The dessert which is none other than fruits, watermelon is sweet too. Not forgetting a balance meal with a plate of cabbage. Love the sauce , it's kinda sweet and sour, great for a starter. All in all, pleasant experience and delicious fresh food!

Didn't get the time to write the review after we had the late lunch here. Nonetheless, it was a great time even though it is EXPENSIVE!!! Beware for those who just got their paycheck XDYeah, honestly, this sushi restaurant is the most expensive that I've tried. The service is good but I hate the sulky face that some of the waitress have. Other than that is great. Yeah, honestly, this sushi restaurant is the most expensive that I've tried.

The service is good but I hate the sulky face that some of the waitress have. Other than that is great. The food especially the sushi is fresh and delicious.

There are a lot of variety of sushis in the menu and other a la carte dishes.

The bad thing about this restaurant is that they do not have the bar seats which allow sushi to be distributed directly to the customers.
In a sushi restaurant, bars are a must!!

Akashi is a slightly more up-class version of Sushi Tei, with better set meals and rarer ingredients. It tends to get crowded fast so service can be a bit lacking at times. But overall the quality of food is good. The set menus are also great value for money if you're undecided on the ala carte items, which can be much pricer, like the sushi items. However Akashi does specialise in sushi as well, and I really like the grilled anago sushi with it's unique coiled up shape, and their various aburi (

However Akashi does specialise in sushi as well, and I really like the grilled anago sushi with it's unique coiled up shape, and their various aburi (seared) sushi, such as the aburi wagyu beef and aburi otoro sushi. They really melt in your mouth!
