My cousin gave me a sweet treat from Amasoy when she was at Great World City. My first time trying Amasoy products, and it was a pleasant experience! Knowing that I like green tea, she got me the Matcha Hokkaido Milk drink. It is smooth, refreshing, creamy and fragrant. With various flavors and hokkaido milk added to the otherwise plain soy drink, it is innovative and provides an alternative to those who wants something more than a soy drink. The matcha taste is not too overpowering, thus giving a right balance to the drink. I really love the Matcha milk drink! I would love to try the Azuki flavor next! The almond soy pudding wasnt too bad but nothing extraordinary. Almond taste is quite strong, great for almond lovers. I think I would prefer the traditional soy beancurd in this case. continue reading

I was at Great World City together with my wife and we had our lunch at the food court. We saw this store selling beancurd. The beancurd looks quite different from Lao Ban and it boosts health benefits as well from the collagen added. We decided to try a tub for ourselves to see the taste. There are a few different flavours, the original, the green tea, mango, almond and special. We bought the special one which is salted caramel beancurd. You can tell which flavour it is by looking at the cover of the tub - it is indicated with the tick. The beancurd is quite a small tub. I would think it is only around 60% the size of Lao Ban. The taste is quite good. It is very very smooth and there is a distinct taste of caramel. Those with sweet tooth will love this as I heard from the staff that this is sweeter than the rest of the other flavours. Each tub costs $2 and while it is slightly expensive, it is worth trying. We got 3 more tubs of the same flavour back for our children as it is that delicious. continue reading
