This was my first time trying out Mee Soto. I wanted to order Mee Rebus earlier but changed my mind to Mee Soto as i have never eaten Mee Soto before. Mee Soto is malay style yellow noodle in soup with bean sprouts and shredded chicken meat. I ordered a potato cutlet to go with it. It tasted quite nice, something different to me. I would not say i liked it but i do not hate it. A good try.

I wanted to eat the famous prawn noodles at the Adam Road Food Centre but unfortunately it was not open yet so i decided to eat something else. The mee soto from the Amirah & Nur Aniqah Mee Soto & Mee Rebus stall looks good and i decided to order a bowl. The mee soto soup was nice and fragrance. The noodles was also cook just nice and not too soft. The shredded chicken was a bit lacking.

This particular stall is rumored to serve the best Mee Soto in Singapore. I spotted a Makansutra certificate for 2009 and 5 chopsticks were given for their Mee Soto. There were quite a few customers waiting to order at the stall when i was there this evening. I waited for about 5 minutes to place my order. I ordered a bowl of Mee Soto at $3.00 and added a begedil for 0.50 cents. I did not eat enough Mee Soto to know whether this was a really good one or not. It tasted quite average to me somewhat. A good enough portion of yellow noodle was served with a few slices of shredded chicken with crunchy bean sprouts in an intensely flavorful chicken stock. Their begedil was quite a good one. The roughly mashed potato in the flat round shaped was fried nicely to release the flavor and texture. It was a pleasant experience.

The stall is small but the mee rebus was great. It was home cooked and was prepared daily and is fresh. The bee hoon is cooked just right and also the gravy. The taste of the gravy is just right. The colour look fresh and appetising. It comes with one hard boil egg and fried sliced small fried tow pok (dried beancurd) Not only does the stall provides nice mee rebus, it comes with good service.
