The first picture illustrates a typical south indian meal that the restaurant serves. I love the little cute containers each dish comes in. It's great for first timers due to the vast variety. The main dish is white rice of course. The meal is complimented with vadai (an indian snack) and papadam (crispy rice crackers). For the price paid, I must say it was worth it as it was a complete meal. The dishes were vast and very tasty. I would also like to add that the dishes were not overly spicy which is perfect for other races to indulge in since they were mild 8/10

This was also my first time trying the mee goreng here (I opted for the dish to come without onions) which were prepared for me upon request. The serving size was just nice. The noodles were well fried with spinach and bean sprouts in them. There was a strong wok hei flavor which I always scout for when eating such dishes. On the side, a slice of beancurd and cucumbers with ketchup was served. 8/10

This was a side to go with our food and the picture says it all. Cubes of paneer marinated in yummy spicy, creamy grave. The paneer was cooked for the right amount. It tasted really good and the tinge of tomato added more flavour to the dish. Finally it was sprinkled with coriander which gave it perfection. 9/10

I was at the Airport recently, sending off a relative. After all the wheeping and crying sending our love ones off, everyone got hungry! In case people don't know, Laddu is an Indian rice ball which is sweet and it is a popular confectionery in India. The Laddu I got from this restaurant is perfectly round, large but it is a bit too sweet to my liking. I have tried better Laddu in Tekka market, which is just the way I like it. Laddu is a good snack for a quick bite at any time of the day.

First up was the Batura, an indian bread that is deep fried and puffed up. It's almost identical to prata except its not as chewy or stretchy. Batura is almost like poori which is another famous indian dish. it was served with 2 delicious side curries. The item was so huge that even my camera could not capture the entire image. This dish is basically vadai with yoghurt and nuts. It is perfect to compliment any spicy dish and can even be eaten on its own. It compromises of 2 vadai's and a generous portion of yoghurt which is known to be very cooling for the body. It is both filling and refreshing. Perfect as a snack.

I decided to take away a couple of indian sweets for the rest of the family. It consisted of Jalebee (orange) which is basically deep fried. It's on the oily side but its a good treat now and then. Laddu (round ball) is also another famous indian sweet thats made with spices. It's sweet and always present during birthdays among other occasions. The white sweets are milk sweets make of milk powder. Definitely one of my favorites as they are not too sweet and melt in the mouth!

Cauliflower Manchurian is a cauliflower dish which is probably one of the best ways to prepare cauliflower especially for vegetable-hating kids. The cauliflower is dipped in flour before being fried which gives makes it crunchy as well as crispy. Seasoning is then added which consists of both sweetness and spicyness. This adds flavor to the dish. Definitely a must try appetizer/side to go with your main course! 9/10

I am a frequent customer of this restaurant especially for supper. Mainly due to the nice warm food thats served that really calms the senses. This time round, we decided to try their naan basket. Portion was pretty good and there were 2-3 different varieties of naan's. There were plain naan's, butter naan's and sweet naan's. Portion would be enough for 3-4 people. The naan's didnt rise to my expectations though as my boyfriend and I found them pretty hard. Naan's are technically supposed to be soft and fluffy.

We had a side dish for Paneer Tikka Masala which is highly recommended. There were a generous portion of indian cheese cube in thick creamy gravy. The dish was slightly spicy and went very well with the naan's.

We also ordered the Gobi Manchurian which is technically fried cauliflowers. This dish has a combination of spices and gives a sweet-spicy outcome. The cauliflowers were crispy aswell. It's perfect for anyone who hates vegetables or for kids as it tastes nothing like cauliflower. One of my Must have's everytime I visit!

Mock Mutton Biryani: Long grains of basmati rice which is used for biryani, cooked with all sorts of spices to bring out a detectable aroma. Chunks of perfectly cooked mock mutton pieces can be found in the biryani. This is definitely one of the best versions I have tasted. The meal also comes with raita (an Indian salad) as well as Kurma (a vegatable curry cooked in coconut milk). The meal is further complimented with crackers and a cup of lime juice. Its the ideal Indian meal 9/10

Paneer Tikka Masala: This dish is divine. There was a generous portion of paneer cubes (Indian cheese) which was then cooked in tantalizing gravy and aromatic spices. It complimented our meal very well and I have always made it a habit to order this dish when I'm at the restaurant.

No doubt its usually packed on weekday evenings and on weekends with indian nationals swamping the place. It tends to be an ideal place for supper after 9pm on weekdays.

The restaurant is also vegetarian and serves a wide range of ala carte dishes. From thosai to prata, to naan's, biryani and noodles. There's something for everyone. They also have indian sweets available for dine in or take away.

My boyfriend and I decided to get the vegetarian biryani. It came with a side of kurma (curry) and also raita (yoghurt salad). The portion of the biryani is substantial but I found the portion of the kurma rather small. However, customers can always request for more curry from the staff. Our food was served hot within 10 minutes. I also ordered the paneer tikka masala (indian cheese curry) as a side dish but was utterly disappointment.

There were 8 medium size paneer cubes served on a platter with garnish in the middle. There was no gravy and the cheese appeared to be grilled and quite tough. Definitely not the way it should be served. We did enjoy the biryani though but I wouldnt recommend the sides; the set meals here seem to be pretty decent and value for money.
