Really love the ambience of the place, it’s has this very classy feel to it great for high tea sessions!

After looking through their menu, we decide to order a Pavlova to share!

The descriptions state that it's Passion Fruit Banana Sorbet with French meringue, almond crumble and dark chocolate

I don't actually eat passion fruit but this Pavlova Passion fruit banana sorbet is so refreshing! And it's my first time eating the French meringue, so soft and sugary!

With added dark chocolate, this is a great pick for sweet tooth ladies like us

Plus almond crumbles to give an extra crunch!

Recommended good pick from their menu

It comes in a pot and it’s actually granny smith apples tea which tasted quite unique and it was my first time trying it. The tier pastries have more of sweet stuffs such as macaroons, chocolate croissants and cakes. The savoury stuff is fewer with smoked salmon bread and smoked ham croissants. Overall it will be better if it there are more savoury stuffs although the sweet stuffs are nice as well just to balance it off. I had a good afternoon tea session.

As a general rule I can find something positive to say about every dining experience in Singapore, ANTOINETTE (Mandarin Gallery) is the exception. A recent visit to this eatery was a true disappointment. Our meal began with luke warm cups of watered down "hot" chocolate that resembled the real thing in color only. Further, while our orders--French Onion soup, Nordic Crepe with Smoked salmon, and French Toast-- arrived promptly, we quickly wished they had not come at all. The French Onion soup, with strange cheese hat and vinegary broth, could not have tasted worse had it come from a can. Three spoons was more then enough of this soggy bread ladened mess. The Nordic crepe, which we returned to kitchen after one bite, contained salmon which tasted as though it had gone off earlier in the week. The crepe was as crispy as a taco shell, and bore no similarity to a real crepe. Interestingly, the staff charged us full price, over our objections, for this item because we had tasted it, as if there was some other way to know that it was bad.
The French Toast, while eatable at least, was only passable.
Needless to say, we left our food largely untouched, and went in search of good food elsewhere. Luckily, in Singapore you don't have to go far.

Bottom line: Whether you are looking for French food or just food in general ANTOINETTE is NOT the place to go.

On weekends, there will be queues so do arrive early to avoid disappointment. The macarons are really good and yummy. They cost around $2.50 each. Even though it is above the average price of a macaron, it is worth the price. I have yet to try the other macarons and I will do so soon! The main courses look promising as well. The ambience is really nice and classy too.

the serving of the smoked salmon is quite a lot. The bread real good as for the poached eggs, it is a little pity that they did not served it with any sauce hence it was quite bland.

I ordered a cup pf iced lemon tea $6 which is so overprice for drinks !

I cannot resist their desserts from their dessert display cabinet. It's just so pretty.
I have to order it. So I had Toi et Moi

Dark chocolate biscuit, vanilla caramel with fleur de sel, hazelnut nougatine, hazelnut feullitine, dark chocolate cream
This is so good ! For girls who scared that it is fattening, share it with your loves ones or your friend.
Try it before you regret for not trying (:

$12.50 (Smoked salmon) + poached eggs ($3) + Iced lemon Tes $6 + Toi et Moi $9 = $30.50
additional service charge and gst
Total bill came out to $35.90

Still acceptable but I think the drinks is too crazy overpriced

Now he's a part of the Sugar Daddy Group of restaurants and he has of course, brought his signatures along.

Either way, I'm happy eating this creation either here at Antoinette or whatever other name it may go by at Canele.

My order, as recommended over the smoked duck. And unwittingly got myself the additional $3 charge just because he assumes I want eggs done the same way as everyone else on the table. No I didn't like the idea of paying for two slices of smoked salmon, no matter how nicely you curl it for presentation's sake. one plus one other piece is still two. This was steep for a brunch plate. But everything on the plate was good though

Antoinette has got pretty good cakes and pastries.
Assorted macaroons is fantastic, crunchy on the outside chewy on the inside; individually filled with distinctive flavored creams.
Don't remember the name of the cake we ordered ... it was filled with lucious chocolate mousse with crunchy chocolate biscuit topped with a special raspberry colius in a jelly form (pop SURPRISE!).
The only complain i have is the servers; they are not attentive, kept talking to each other and forgets what i asked for (serviettes, extra spoons, water) things like serviettes shouldn't be asked they should have prepared it before bringing us to the table. There wasn't much people there at that time and they just simply walk past my table a few times without bringing me the stuff that i asked for.
Good food, lousy service.

I really love the toast and scrambled egg though. The toast was crunchy yet soft in the middle and had a nice sweet taste while the scrambled eggs just had the right amount of milk in it.

My friend's pasta had a good number of prawns (6-8 prawns), she had so many she couldn't finish it and had to pass so me to me haha. They were very well-seasoned. Overall, I had a fairly good impression of Antoinette. A little pricey but I will definitely be going back to try other dishes.

It is my first time together with my friend, we went to Antoinette Restaurant for lunch! It is a pleasure that we went there because the environment inside is luxurious with few seats only. The interior design for the whole place filled the place with a classic and queen feel. We ordered Starter - Salade Lyonnaise which contains hot bacon, poached eggs, mustard vinaigrette, buttered corton, frisee and mixed green! YUMMY!

High class dines in to Antoinette. Their posh ambience and classy restaurant is a great place to chill and relax on an afternoon. However, their service are terrible. Ordered a Pasta called Gnocchi Carbonara with caramelized bacon, white wine cream sauce, poached egg and aged parmesan cheese. Their Carbnara is something that I will not get sick of. Their pasta is quite unique, it is served in a rectangular cube and not the usual spaghetti.

Mad in love with their pancakes. It is really soft and fluffy. Not too dry kind. The entire plates is drenched in maple syrup and topped with icing sugar and whipped cream. Presentation was awesome. It is a little sweet for those who don't like it sweet, i suggest you not to order this. This is more for the sweet tooth. I will definitely head back for more! Ambience and service were all tip top as well!
