Signature Dishes
Had a simple breakfast in this restaurant before heading off for my whole day shopping trip in Orchard road. This restaurant was quite spacious and cooling. Service staffs are quite attentive in clearing the table and are very friendly as well. Had bought their basic toast with scrambled egg, and for less than $10, is quite cheap. The scrambled egg is very soft and full of the milk and butter fragrant. The toasted bread is soft and delicious too.

for photos and more reviews, visit http://thelittlemomentsofmylife.blogspot.com (:as always, when i see nachos, I HAVE TO ORDER THEM heehee. the chili cheese nachos ($16.80) looked rather disappointing when they first arrived. i mean, the colour didn't look very appetizing somehow. they looked kinda pale! but they tasted surprisingly good! they were not all crispy, in fact, quite a number of them were a bit soggy, but it was cos they were drenched in sauce which i looooooved (: i really liked the taste of the beans! normally i don't like the beans they serve in spanish restaurants and stuff, but this time they tasted really nice, and the jalepenos added a wonderful kick to this dish (: slightly sour and spicy, they were really yummy! but i don't understand why people say jalepenos are the spiciest kind of chili!! O.O so far all those which i've tried are not really spicy. definitely not the level of chili padi. but anyway, i like the other appetizer we ordered was the mozarella sticks ($9.80). a crispy layer of golden breadcrumbs on the outside with cheese oozing out with every bit, ooh gosh they tasted great on their own, and with the salsa dip as well! (:i had a difficult time trying to decide between the fiesta lime chicken and the margherita grilled chicken, cos i thought both pictures looked scrumptious! in the end, we chose the margherita grilled chicken ($22.80), which turned out to be...not so outstanding. the chicken was a tad dry. but the sauce was pretty interesting, i liked the freshness which the tomatoes added to the dish (:the applebee's honey bbq double-glazed babyback ribs ($29.80) were quite nice! generously covered with a layer of smoky bbq sauce and the meat was tender (although not the falling-off-the-bone texture which is the epitome of all ribs but still decent!).and we drank sangria! hmm somehow i always had the impression that sangria was really alcoholic. like from my past experiences of drinking it. but for those at applebee's, it tasted almost like fruit juice? haha! there was almost no hint of alcohol at all. but they tasted really yummy! (: (: we ordered the kiwi-melon sangria which was really refreshing! i loved the taste of the kiwi and the white peach sangria as well! initially i liked the peach sangria more. but after drinking it for awhile, i actually preferred the kiwi-melon sangria for its lighter, fruiter taste (: the peach one was slightly too sweet after awhile. the best thing? they were going at 1-for-1 haha. the original price was $19.90 each, which is exxxx :/

This western restaurant not only serve my favourite barberqued pork ribs, I also enjoy having their breakfast food during most of my weekends' mornings. Especially enjoy eating their scrambled egg, which is extremely smooth in texture and also super creamy and fragrant. Their toasted bread is also soft in texture and with that slight crunch on the outer layer.

FEED ME MORE!!! FEED ME MORE!!! FEED ME MORE!!!!Feed me more is not the way you have your meals... its a lifestyle...For me... that was lacking a bit on this area.Last week, i met my army friends to dine at Applebee's diner. I would say this... For an american restaurant.. it is not really up to standards. they do have american cuisine and i do respect that... The portions can be a little bit bigger. For instance, i had the appetizer sampler. It came with buffalo wings, cheese sticks, some green mozzarella thing and quaesadilla.. If you were to get that for snacks... i suggest dont waste your money... however due to good deals!!! It was half priced.. If you go there during lunch time from 2-630 or something like that on weekdays you can get selected appetizers for half priced... we paid 11 bucks or something for the dish. There was also the one for one happy hour promotion for alcohol... You have to pay for the higher price... my friend ordered the wine cool mixer thing and i got a Margarita. The wine cooler mixer came in a big glass and was not very good... The margarita was served in a mixer shaker with the strainer.. Fantastic presentation. The entrees were then served with the magically placed plate put in front of me. The burger was ok... could have been more but i was full as i had the appetizer, the drinks and now the entree. My recommendation is that if you have a budget.. dont come here, however if you dont... you will have to tell the server to FEED! ME! MORE!!!The service was pretty much ok although they could pay more attention. The front concierge to the restaurant could be better as i spoke to her in english she ignored me and spoke to my friends who were chinese.Only one thing i could say to that.... DAMN!!

As a North American living in Singapore I have to admit I was pretty happy when Applebee's came to Singapore - finally a place for good chicken fingers, riblets and Tex-mex food! So I went within the first couple weeks of opening and was quite disappointed - they did not offer my favorite North American Applebee's menu items, the food we did over was disappointing, and it was over-priced.Well, I was walking past Applebee's today on the way to Fair Price Finest and noticed their new lunch sets -- a half dozen classic choices with a soft drink for $8.80 NET. I was hungry and when I saw that I could get Caesar Salad with Steak for just $8.80, I decided to try it. I arrived around 11:45 ahead of the lunch crowd, and my meal arrived in less than 10 minutes. It was the perfect portion for lunch with lots of salad and shredded parmesan cheese and medium-well done steak. The steak wasn't particularly hot, but that might have been intentional since it's on the salad and you don't want it to cook the lettuce! It was quite good and I'd definitely order it again. I would like if it came with garlic bread, too! (and would be willing to pay me) For $8.80 including an iced tea, this is an amazing deal and I'll probably give Applebee's another try for lunch -- they do have chicken fingers now!
