Applebee's (Closed)

Had a simple breakfast in this restaurant before heading off for my whole day shopping trip in Orchard road. This restaurant was quite spacious and cooling. Service staffs are quite attentive in clearing the table and are very friendly as well. Had bought their basic toast with scrambled egg, and for less than $10, is quite cheap. The scrambled egg is very soft and full of the milk and butter fragrant. The toasted bread is soft and delicious too.

This western restaurant not only serve my favourite barberqued pork ribs, I also enjoy having their breakfast food during most of my weekends' mornings. Especially enjoy eating their scrambled egg, which is extremely smooth in texture and also super creamy and fragrant. Their toasted bread is also soft in texture and with that slight crunch on the outer layer.

As a North American living in Singapore I have to admit I was pretty happy when Applebee's came to Singapore - finally a place for good chicken fingers, riblets and Tex-mex food! This cappucino from Applebee's is one of my favourite hot beverages whenever I visit this restaurant. The coffee bean used in producing their different types of coffee beverages are really fragrant and tasty. It is also not too sweet and the coffee texture is very thick and nice. The price is also quite reasonable and the environment is quite cosy and comfortable too.

“A great place with nice ambience and friendly staff” i thought. I decided to give it a try. ordered the pork ribs. Taste is ok but i would prefer less sauce and for the meat to be more tender. price is ok and i guess it would be cheaper for lunch. Excellent service though!

The lunch in AppleBee’s is quite good at $8.50 for a main course and a drink. The price is Nett some more. I had their Chicken Mushroom Pasta, which is quite tasty. My friend ordered their Fish and Chips, which she said was not very good. The meat was not a lot and coated with a lot of flour. Overall, $8.50 for a lunch set is ok.

When i first heard about applebees coming i was quite curious about the food. My girlfriends and i decided to checked it out . The ambience was cute, with wooden flooring and booths. To be honest, the food is not that fantastic quite a disappointment but the service was good. As for price wise, i think quite okie. For the price of the food, i think we can have a better food. I don't think i will want to go back to dine again.
