Signature Dishes
This place has the most authentic korean food. When it comes to the army stew, this is the place to go.Korean Army StewThe food is freshly prepared, and the food is selfed cooked. Yummy korean food cooked right infront of you.Although a bit pricy i would still visit this place again.

Lately I’ve been watching too many korean dramas till addicted to their food (kpop), me and hubby went for Korean BBQ buffet. This place is small (for a bbq place) and cozy, the staff was a little sluggish and grumpy. As there's a time limit to eat here, we have to order our food randomly without really taking much time to slowly read and decide which is more worth it and enjoy the dining process. The side appetizers were fresh, I liked the kimchi as it was very spicy and crunchy. Ordered some dishes from the hot food menu, kimchi fried rice was a little wet , toppoki's sauce was flavourful and gooey however the rice cake was a little hard tasted as if undercooked. Korean stir fried glass noodles were springy and has nice "wok hei" smell. Overall all marinated meat is average, nothing fantastic and it almost seems they served rather slowly on purpose to use up the 2 hours while outputting minimal meat. I think all in all the most nerve wrecking part for me is the thought of eating under a time limit like I'm being pressured while doing an "eating mission" on "running man" and I'm not going to win any gold upon completion. There’s more negativity in this experience than those tragic dramas I’ve watched. I probably won’t return unless positive reviews about it, all best for them.

Korean BBQ restaurants are becoming increasingly popular in Singapore now and Arirang Korean Restaurant has an extensive menu with a wide variety of ala carte dishes and Korean bbq. Not exactly a big fan of korean food, but decided to give them a try.I ordered the Samgaetang (Chicken Ginseng Soup). The broth looks thick and flavorsome, and it came with a pretty huge ginseng in the soup. The taste of the ginseng was quite strong and the chicken bits in the soup were tender though. Also ordered the korean rice cake and it was a bit sour and spicy, which is not really my thing. Also ordered this korean pizza which is passable. I have heard good things about the Korean bbq buffet and that is probably what it specializes in. If I do return, I would give that a try instead.

Lunch is usually crowded over here as their price is pretty affordable. The seafood pancake and ginseng chicken soup are seen mostly on the tables. Decided to order both to try. Too much msg is added into the soup as i was very thirsty after lunch, the chicken is huge but am not a fan of chicken so didnt try it. As for the seafood pancake, it was not good as well. The crabstick was used as the main ingredient and there is no sign of other seafood such as prawns where most Korean restaurants made that with the pancakes.Disappointing as it is not authentic Korean food. And the seats are very cramp, not suitable for tall people or even group gatherings who plan to sit there for a long time.
