After hearing about it on one of the television shows, I decided to head down to give my verdict on it. I'm a real fussy eater on Char Kway Teow. Upon reaching, the queue was right till the entrance of the coffeeshop. I joined the queue and only managed to get my plate of Char Kway Teow 30 mins later. For $3 a plate, I'd say is not one that I would return for. The Char Kway Teow was really normal. There isn't the wok taste on the Char Kway Teow. Nothing too fanciful about this plate of Char Kway Teow. Perhaps the successor of this Armenian Street Char Kway Teow lost the touch from the owner.

I thought it is just a normal char kway teow stall until I noticed the newspaper clipping hanging in front of the stall. It is quite famous at Armenian Street. However, it is closed due to demolishment & rebuilding of the Armenian St building. It has been missing for 3 years and now it is opened here. I ordered a plate to try. It has the ‘wok qi’ as expected but it is slightly burnt. Overall is ok, but seems like something is missing maybe due to I request not to put cockles.
