The green curry chicken is one of the signature dish and also the best selling dish in this stall. The green curry flavour is very fragrant and the texture is creamy and thick too. The chicken is very tender and juicy, and has really blend in well with the nice flavour from the green curry gravy. Best to serve with the fragrant plain rice and a cool cup of lime juicy, simply delicious and appetitizing! continue reading

This version of stir fry noodles here is quite delicious and also quite spicy too. The rice noodles are quite generous in portion and is really smooth and soft in texture. Really like the large crunchy prawns in it which are very crispy and fresh. As it is only cooked upon your order, you will be assured to have a plate of really fresh and fragrant rice noodles served to you. The staffs here are also quite friendly and approachable too. For those who can really take the spicer version, you may also want to add some chilli flakes on it too to enhance the spicyness. continue reading

I went back to thai cafe again despite the disappointing coconut chicken soup that i had, this time round i had thai green curry chicken which cost $6. The green curry was alright with a little bitter after-taste, there were lots of chicken pieces in our soup and with some peas and brinjal. It wasnt that spicy but smooth to drink. continue reading

lunch at Thai Cafe Sunshine plaza with a couple of colleagues. I ordered the fried Tang Hoon. It looks appetizing and it is not too oily. It certainly tastes well. Most importantly it only cost me $5. it is definitely worth the money spent. in addition, i order the lemongrass drink which cost around $2. My total meal only costs me $7. cheap and good i would say continue reading

Had a good thai lunch at Thai Cafe today! They have set lunch menu @S$5.50 per set. Ordered their stir fry basil minced chicken with rice and fried egg. My set lunch comes with a choice of drink too- freshly brewed lemon grass drink. They have few other choices for drinks also. But i think their lemon grass drink is good.Minced chicken is very tasty and combined with basil, an authentic thai spice makes it very fragrant too! They also gave a generous serving of the chicken. Tried their tom yum soup. Soup base is not overly spicy and there's no "kick" in spicyness. It's red in color and not a clear soup. To me, i would say their tom yum soup is above average but not fantastic though. Service is good and there's no GST and service charge! continue reading
