This dish is the chicken cream pasta which is my staple and comfort food in RP. It is the only western food which I love. Even though, the meal is quite expensive but there is a drink which is included in the meal menu which I think is affordable. The spaghetti is neither soft nor hard which makes it delicious and the taste is just right with the white creamy sauce and the mayonnaise and I will sprinkled pepper flakes to make it a little spicy. I will say that the fries they gave is quite little and they should give the consumers more! Other than pasta, this cafe sells teriyaki chicken, ramen and etc. Other than meals, there are sandwiches, cakes and eclairs. The chicken wrap is the most worth it food on the menu too. It includes cabbage, half of a chicken cutlet, mayonaise, cheese and pepper flakes. Although the wrap can be quite small, but it is very filling and eatting just one wrap, makes you want to have more and more and more!!! I would recommend the Ice Chocolate Drink as it has a chocolate fudge taste and to finish it off well, the chocolate powder will be sprinkle on top of the drink as well. continue reading

Back in the day when i was still an innocent student.. (ehem) this place would be my 2nd home. Get this... when i was enrolled in RP... i was only the 4th batch... they didnt have this cafe when i was in year 1. This cafe came out in year 2. According to the reviews that i saw... i think it definitely changed. They were much friendlier back in the day..I was in the percussion ensemble 3rd batch and i saw many many changes in the school and when practice ended around 9pm.. i could get my fries or cheese wedges...What i used to order was the japanese curry rice set... It was japanese curry chicken... slightly sweet... and spicy... fried chicken... wedges and iced milk tea... simply soothing and sinful... What i loved most about this cafe was the bbq sauce... i kid you not this runs out fast.. or at least it used to... The service was excellent and the staff was fantastic.. I went back there around november and realised that yeah it may have changed a little but i am guessing that it has become ok only...I remember when they first proposed the plan of art bites @trcc. .. The aim was to let students showcase their talents on a small stage that was available. I have yet to see any of it as a hardcore arts fan.... continue reading

Visited this cafe today at about 8pm. Food was so-so, people commented the potato salad is not nice. I tried it, was edible. The service at the counter was abrupt. however, the manager was really rude. i da-baoed my own sandwich and he wanted me to keep it or have to pay $2000 for some halal issue. He didn't even check with me if my sandwich contained pork! I'd expect that he'd at least courteously say "Excuse me, sorry..next time cannot yea.." I had my half-eaten sandwich kept in the bag while finishing my potato salad i ordered at the counter. the ambient decor is pleasant and i must say there is not much echo in the place even when there's a lot of people. they charge for water...20c per cup. I guess a lot of students park themselves there and the owner wants to ensure that people are not free-loading in the cafe.my friend ate the teriyaki noodle, a $4.50 set, and it looked really miserable. Soggy. well, none of the students are picky about food, and it's the only cafe with air-conditioning alive at that hour in that location. never again..unless bopian... continue reading

It took them about 5-10 minutes to cook as they have previously stated, and when it came, it looked good - the egg show sunny face!! This place serves affordable food but the service is not up to an average cafe standard. The fried chicken rice is just nice. The lady staffs were unfriendly and rude as they indirectly chased my friends and I out of the cafe because we are using laptops while sipping our tea, which were bought from them. continue reading

This place serves affordable food but the service is not up to an average cafe standard. The fried chicken rice is just nice. The lady staffs were unfriendly and rude as they indirectly chased my friends and I out of the cafe because we are using laptops while sipping our tea, which were bought from them. We intend to have our dinner here later hence we are using their power plugs to do some simple work as the environment is cosy and comfortable. However, the staffs did not warn us and just cut off the power supply, causing us to lose some important work. The staffs even stare back and glare at us in a very satisfied manner. I strongly encourage everyone to go to the NLB cafe or starbucks to relax and use laptop. DEFINITELY NOT HERE. continue reading
