Arteastiq has recently unveiled a brand new afternoon tea lineup, as well as tweaked their main menu. This time, the focus is on local produce, and items are also made fresh daily, in-house.
Known for its sophisticated elegant setting, artisanal teas and art jamming, Arteastiq is a stunning venue to relax over a meal or exquisite teas.
Arteastiq’s refreshed afternoon tea set, presented on a 2-tier bird cage stand, is certainly Instagram-worthy, and also perfect for a tête–à–tête.
Savory morsels include Vol Au Vent (mushroom capers pastry), Panini Morsi (foie gras with pommery mustard spread, sandwich between toasted brioche), Viva Duck (smoked suck with argula salad and horse radish mayo wrapped in tortilla) and Smoked Salmon with micro salad, cream cheese mousse, topped with fried shallots. My favorite was the Vol Au Vent, where fragrant mushrooms sit in buttery puff pastry, enhanced with arugula spears and extra virgin olive oil.
Nibble on dainty sweet treats such as Arteastiq’s unique Salted Egg Macaron with chewy coffee macaron shell or Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, which is essentially vanilla sponge with caramelized pineapple and maraschino cherries. The deconstructed Matcha Cheesecake could do with more intense green tea flavours; it’s other components, such popping candy and cookies crumble, inject an element of surprise and texture into the otherwise average dessert. Another highlight is the Chocolate Truffle, where a whole macadamia nut lies hidden within valrhona dark chocolate ganache
What really impressed me is the Afternoon Tea Set’s quality and affordability. Its only $48++ for 2 pax, and that price includes 2 beverages, which are worth $11 each.
We also sampled a couple of new inclusions that recently joined the collection of tantalizing offerings in Arteastiq’s main menu.
To start, munch on Atlantic Dance, a hearty salad of fresh sautéed octopus and mesclun, will captivate your taste buds. The salad is further elevated with baby red radish slices, feta cheese and crunchy sweet potato chips. Popping candy makes another appearance here, which lends a hint of sweetness and adds intrigue to this starter.
Carnivores will relish The Fawn And The Wilderness where the original flavors of young deer are embraced. In order to retain the authentic gamy flavors of the venison, the chef approaches take a light-handed approach towards its seasoning, which comprises of salt and rosemary. The tender meat is complemented with classic coriander salsa verde, sautéed cherry tomatoes and broccolini.
If you prefer something lighter, there’s Mermaid’s Blush, a dish of pan seared snapper accompanied with arugula and a medley of 4 different varieties of earthy mushrooms.

Interesting set lunches, relaxing afternoon teas and romantic dinners, there’s something for everyone at Arteastiq. Art enthusiasts can unleash their passions and escape the stress of fast-paced city life at the Art Jamming Studio. Immersing in art is a beneficial activity to conclude a stressful work day or recharge over the weekends.

Having had a positive impression on Arteastiq’s afternoon tea, I was understandably keen to check out their newly revamped set.
Located along Orchard Road, splendidly decorated Arteastiq is a popular spot for resting in between shopping, or to meet up with friends for a tête-à-tête. Art lovers can indulge in their passion in the art studio next door, whilst sipping on Arteastiq’s exquisite teas. Unlimited acrylic pain, sponges, brushes and paint palettes are provided with purchase of blank canvas.
Afternoon tea is served on a 2-tiered stand, along with 2 teas at $48++. We highly recommend the Iced Pomelo Tea, a refreshing and uplifting sweet beverage.
Savouries occupy the bottom tier. The most outstanding, was the supple Smoked Duck Breast roll, enveloped in a crispy Prata that had a beautiful charred aroma. Other savoury nibbles include Smoked Salmon Roll, Cocktail Prawns and Ham Roll.
As for sweet treats, we had Caramel Éclair, Chocolate Éclair, Baked Chocolate Tart, warm and moist Apple Cinnamon Cake (with moist apple bits), Coffee Macaron and Vanilla Macaron. While the éclairs were appealing, the portion was paltry and did not reflect the classy image Arteastiq projects of itself. I’d rather pay more to get decent sized éclairs.

Overall, we found Arteastiq's afternoon tea experience a little dissapointing. Service was slow and it was difficult to catch staff's attention. But its only $48++ which includes 2 teas which are already worth $11 each, so what more can one ask for?

Had our lunch somewhere else, and here we are at arteastiq boutique tea lounge for afternoon tea time! Love the classy decor, and the beautiful chair. We can have a relaxing afternoon, with a good view of the ever busy orchard road. We bought The Secret Garden( matcha lava cake n yuzu ice cream) for only $2.20 (UP $12.90) on IWANTSUGAR APP. The matcha cake taste too sweet, and the lava wasn't that abundant.  I love the generous scoop of refreshing, citrusy yuzu gelato with real yuzu bites in it.

Tea came first. They always serve their teas along with pretty golden utensils and delectable little accompaniments.

I had a Cinnamon Ginger tea that came with tiny squares of cakes. *Charliez had the Hibuscus Rose tea that came with red bean mochi pancake. Both the teas were served in dainty tea-ware, and very aromatic. It seemed befitting, to be enjoying hot teas in this elegant little tea lounge in lieu of cold drinks

The Cheese and Ham Tortillas had a character of its own - crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. I love Tortillas, so this was a rather delightful selection for us. Like the dainty way the tea was being served, the Tortillas are cut into smaller triangles so it makes for easier consumption.

I just found out about the art jamming feature from a friend's facebook and had been wanting to visit ever since. I like the idea of mingling with people who are interested in art and also at the same time appreciate and enjoy the works of others.

I was having a week-long break from school so I rounded up 3 of my arty farties and booked an afternoon session on tuesday. We only paid for 3 as they had an on-going promotion which allows 4 people to paint for the price of 3. So it worked out to around 36 per person which is not too costly i feel.

The afternoon session did not have a huge turnout. Guess because it is a weekday. I had fun nonetheless with my friends and thought it was an awesome way to spend an idyllic weekday afternoon.

The complimentary beverage that came with it was not bad. You have a range of different drinks to choose from. Basically we had to bring nothing down as they will be providing you with adequate equipment to paint.

Overall a nice experience. Will look forward to any future promotions! Will be hoping to throw a visit on the peak hours... just to feel a different atmosphere!

Wrapping of succulent ingredients inside, the mixture was refreshing and salty. Overall was healthy with most of them were organic veggies. Dipping in specialty sauce, the solid roll was tangy delicious. Perfect life to enjoy the peaceful tea time, the place was worth a return.

I have always been attracted to Arteastiq because of their pretty décor and finally managed to convince Hubby to bring me there because there was a promotion. Hubby only thinks of Ippudo when he is at Mandarin Gallery.

We tried 2 mains from breakfast menu, which is available on weekdays 11am-2pm and on weekends 9am-2pm. We had drinks as well and find that Arteastiq excelled in their beverages, but not their breakfast fare.

The placed was rather packed and the lovely window seats were all taken up…..

I had my favorite Iced Pomelo tea ($11), which I first chanced upon at Tea Bone China and have been addicted to ever since. Every time I visit any dining establishment by Arteastiq (another one is Museo), I will definitely order this.

Hubby had a Hot Cioccolata ($9). We both agree that the Roasted Hazelnut Hot Cioccolata is superior to the former.

The confectionery that came with the drinks tastes so fine!

Ante Meridiem ($20.80): Cheesy Potato Gratin with Salmon, topped with rockets. I like that the sliced potatoes are coated generously with rich creamy cheese sauce. Salmon portion is huge too

Prima Dawn ($19.80) Pan-fried potato-broccoli medallion, scrambled eggs and cheesy roasted tomato , with a choice of sausage or bacon. A heart breakfast for anyone with a big appetite!
All in all, the dishes we tried were not outstanding. Having been impressed by Museo and Tea Bone China’s afternoon tea, I expect Arteastiq’s afternoon tea to excite my taste buds. I shall be back again! And I have got to remember make a reservation for the window seats.

It may sounds a little costly but the food turn out to be worth it all. The set comes with choice of drink from their many many pages menu, so many I took awhile to decide. Want the lychee tea. The tea pot came out in a nice kelt presentation and wow the tea was fragrant and not too overwhelm, lightly with a tinge of lychee sweetness. The two-tier snacks turn out to be too pretty we couldn't stop taking pictures. Don't be fooled only by its look. The food are yummy! I specially love the wrap which looks and may taste Like roti prata but wow it burst into fragrant when we bite into It. Crispy and not too oily, was a perfect complement to the tea serve

Definitely would love to visit this place again to try its other extensive list of tea. We saw a nice cream tea which is on our to try list now!

totally living the tai-tai life. tucked in a corner of mandarin gallery is arteastiq - not your average cafe, it's not just a pretty face (figuratively), but is also a place for art jamming! how interesting

upon entering the cafe, we were ushered to this cosy area with pretty victorian chairs. coupled with the greenery outside, we felt like we had been transported out of singapore into a little quaint hidey hole where we could just kick back and be oblivious to the buzz around us.

the food at arteastiq is pretty expensive. their afternoon tea set sounded so delectable, but it was $48 for two people!
instead, we opted for the 'two good a meal' promotion, which was $7.90 with a purchase of a fruit/dessert tea. this set came with a side salad and a daily soup with croutons on the side, with our choice of panini or some other sandwich. the soup of the day was the mushroom soup. i like how the mushrooms were freshly ground, such that every mouthful had a wonderful texture to it. i felt ti was a tad too peppery though. the salad was good, and we opted for the tuscan crispy brioche panini chicken. it was delicious!!!! i dont really know where to start. okay the bread - it was delightfully flaky, it kind of had the texture and buttery taste of a croissant! i wonder how they did it. inside was a wonderful mash of smoked chicken, smooth philadelphia cream cheese puree with a hint of nutmeg, and this creaminess was balanced perfectly with the freshness of dried cranberries and alfalfa sprouts. delicious!

and the tea! there were so many to choose from, and they all sounded so nice, we had a hard time deciding on one! i suggested the lychee tea (i can't remember what was the price..$11.90 maybe?) and i absolutely adored it! i could have totally finished the whole pot myself haha. omgosh
just look at it! dont you love the teapot?! it's soooooo pretty! and it was superb substance too! it came with sugar cubes on the side, but really, you dont need it. the first mouthful was a comforting mild taste of tea, but as it sloshes around, the sweetness of the lychee emerges and fills your mouth, leaving a beautiful lingering aftertaste. so so SO good
it also came with a little piece of japanese mochi and a biscuit. yumyum!!

we also ordered the atlantic smoked salmon crispy wrap ($7.90), which i would best describe as an angmoh roti prata. haha it totally just reminded me of roti prata in terms of appearance and taste! lol. it was yummy as well, the freshness of the veggies helped to temper the oiliness of the wrap, and the salmon was fragrant

altogether a charming place for a meal
my only gripe would be that it's kinda expensive considering the tiny portions. but the quality was great

The Flying Carpet with 2 scoops of Gelato of your choice - We choose The Mao Shan Wang & Champagne Vanilla.
Chocolate powder & Dried Cranberries were given at the side to spread over the gelato. Prata was crispy, but hard. We were not given any cutlery for this set of dessert, so we used to spoon used for the lava cake to cut the hard prata. Again, this dessert was saved by the fantastic gelatos. While the Vanilla was light on the taste, the Mao Shan Wan was fantastic. Feels like you're eating durian instead of gelato

Service was quite prompt although some of the staffs are preparing for closing.

However, the whole experience would have been better if we were not seated to a table of 2 girls and a guy who talked & laughed so loudly such that the entire restaurant can hear their conversation & laughter!

This boutique tea house serves an interesting array of special, alcoholic, fruit tea sets and desserts in a luxurious relaxing setting lined with designer furniture and it certainly won our hearts over with this innovative concept almost immediately upon setting foot.

Spoilt for choice when browsing through the menu, we decided to go for their signatures and while our orders were being processed, the camera started snapping away!

The pomelo tea was very refreshing and offered a perfect lift for the lazy afternoon. While we struggled to taste the elements of pomelo in the drink, we favoured the tang from the citric yuzu slices. The gelato was quick to immerse itself into the tea and enjoyed on its own, it was creamy rich in a good sense but seemed to lack a strong refreshing burst of the sweet citrus flavours and tasted more like a good rendition of vanilla ice cream. We felt that the tea with saccharine yuzu slices was too sweet for our palate though it helped that a separate glass of iced water washed it down a little. However it was the exact immense flavours from the yuzu slices that carried its beautiful influence on the gelato. We allowed some of the gelato to melt in the cold tea and surprisingly we got ourselves a new concoction, yuzu milky tea! Like any classic afternoon tea set, this came complete with 2 slices of biscotti. These oblong-shaped almond biscuits were made dry and crunchy and complemented the cold beverage well with an added texture to the submerged gelato! Overall, it was a good combination but the elements standalone might not quite find a footing in our must-try list.

We chose the two recommended gelato from the list and they were pear tea and Cointreau bitter chocolate. We thought that the name to the dessert was really innovative, especially with the 'Aladdin-like' saucers which had dried cranberries and cocoa powder to sprinkle over the gelato and prata. The pear tea gelato was rich and had an immensely refreshing burst which contrasted well with the bitter chocolate counterpart. While it tasted revitalizing, we felt that the balance in flavours was tipped towards fruity floral tea so if you were expecting a solid punch of fresh pear fruit taste like I did, you might be poised for disappointment.

I was also expecting a good kick from the orange flavoured liqeur in the chocolate gelato but even with repeated servings, we failed to taste the alcohol. It was a good rich chocolate gelato but it was not really dark nor bitter. That being said, the extra serving of cocoa powder when sprinkled atop the chocolate gelato did make a positive difference, giving an added layer of texture and bitterness. I was actually looking forward to trying this interesting fusion mix between Indian cuisine and western desserts, but regrettably the prata was not crispy enough. It tasted dense with flour, thick and pretty much tasted like frozen pre-mades that got pan-fried prior to serving. Definitely look elsewhere if you are in search for freshly made prata. Overall, I liked the creative combination of infusing Asian culinary elements into desserts and admittedly, it was my first time trying prata without the familiar curry sauces and sugar! If the respective elements to this dessert could be improved upon, then I am sure it would be a winner.

The various cocktails and fruit teas were prepared at this fully exposed part of the 'bar' or 'kitchen' depending on your definition, but we certainly enjoyed watching our beverages prepared before us! The gentleman in the above picture was very polite and attentive to our requests even though he was not part of the waiting staffs. He greeted us enthusiastically upon arrival and even thanked us for our patronage upon leaving. It took a while for our desserts to be served so it would help if you visited with a laid back attitude like we did, then you would enjoy the whole cosy chilled ambiance a whole lot better!

In addition to providing an unique dining experience, there were social events tied up with art events held at the adjacent art gallery. Looking for a bonding session with your partner, this could be your next activity here to get some art juices flowing!

While the desserts were not exceptional in their class, we enjoyed the getaway from the busy hustle of Orchard Road, tucking away to reading some of the provided magazines, a little chit chat over some nice fruity, floral teas. Apparently they have a beautiful Adam & Eve cakes, which are their famous apple and orange cakes respectively. I would recommend this place as a resting haven for the tired shoppers to get a good pick up from the refreshing cocktails and beverages!

Really enjoy visiting this Boutique tea lounge as it is really nice and cosy, and super beautiful layout as well. Enjoyed their wraps especially, as the portion is quite generous and the taste is quite good too. The wrap skin is thick but not too dry. The thick slices of ham meat wrap in it are also very fresh and chewy. Fresh lettuces are also added in it which added that extra crunch to it as well.

On a side-note, the queue gets long during afternoon tea, normally during weekends. So it's wise to get there early and book a seat before they are filled up!

Arteastiq located at the heart of Orchard at Mandarin Gallery, is a posh chill out tea lounge where customers can relax with friends or rest their tiring feet after a day of shopping at Orchard. Arteastiq has a fascinating range of special, alcoholic, dessert and fruit tea sets and an assortment of “teasers” (savouries) and desserts (premium gelato, cakes and scones) to go along in a luxurious and relaxing setting. Arteastiq offers an unique tea experience with its modern lounge and designer furniture by Marxx.

For a start, my partner and I tried the Dessert Tea which was an unique and interesting combination of tea and ice cream. We had the French Rose Tea with Champagne Vanilla Gelato and Oolong Tea with Lychee Martini Gelato. The Dessert Tea definitely won our hearts with the innovative and refreshing concept.

The Dessert Tea also comes with a small cup of the tea. I thought that was a nice warm touch to taste the true flavour of the freshly brewed tea's quality.

The Double Teasery came with 6 mini bites and cold cuts. On the top plate, there were the Signature Crispy Wraps and Apple Cake. The Crispy Wraps with Chicken Breast was an unique creation using Roti Prata to wrap a choice of your filling. The plain looking Apple Cake was surprisingly moist and flavourful. On the other Double Teasery, we tried the Crispy Wraps with Roasted Beef and Orange Cake. Both were excellent too.

On the lower plate, we have the Atlantic Smoked Salmon, Smoked Turkey Ham, Crabmeat Salad served with volvant, Spicy Jumbo Topshell with Chilled Mango Achar. The pinkish Atlantic Smoked Salmon rich savoury, buttery taste was very enjoyable but lacked the smokey flavour. Among all, the Crabmeat Salad served with volvant was our favourite. We would gladly substitute some of the other bites for more of it.

After finishing all the lovely food, for the second round of tea we went for the hot fruit tea. I had the Lychee Fruit Tea while my partner had the Pear Fruit Tea. It was a real enjoyment sipping a cup of tea in a cozy contemporary Europe ambient. At Arteastiq, each pot of tea is brewed separately on the spot with the freshest ingredients to assure quality. Hence, do be patient. Sit back, relax or browse the magazines that are readily available.

Arteastiq is famous for its tea and they do have a huge selection so do go ahead and try! and all of them are so pretty for taking pictures with..

even the cappuccino which i took came with some almond biscuits..

I ordered at cranberry chicken sandwich which was so so only.. so it came in a tray, with some rocket salad at the side and a shooter of balsamic vinegar.. and u know what? when the waitress came she dropped the balsamic shooter onto my gucci bag! You can imagine the frenzy that went on but i kept my cool and just told her they had to pay for professional cleaning.. luckily at mandarin gallery there was one.. n i was very surprised they had reimbursed me on the spot after i produced the receipt.. no questions asked or finger pointing.. I must really give it to them for the service. But u can imagine that when i came back and all my food was already cold.. my frens had finished most of their food(so no picts..)

But seriously, with all that lack of good service in restaurants these days i must say the exceptional service means they will continue to keep me as a customer.
