Somehow or rather, it seems that everytime a colleague is leaving, Aston become the first choice for farewell lunch gathering since we have one that is situated so near our company and the price is relatively not wallet-taxing.If you are a Kenny Roger's macaroni & cheese lover like me, you will really enjoy the cheesy macaroni that Aston serve as well. Simply to put it, they taste absolutely the same. A cheaper alternative for an expensive meal at Kenny Rogers instead. If I did not remember the prices wrongly, Kenny Roger does sell their cheesy macaroni for $3 or lightly more than that as a single side dish each. And if you make a typical singaporean comparison, Aston is selling their side dishes for 50cents cheaper. Volla! you save yourself a good 50cents.As for the chicken, well, not over done and is still tender. good enough for me. and if you find that you need more sauce, you can actually make request for more for absolutely free. talk about saving money.Personally I still feel the potato salad still taste the best at the branch found at THE CATHAY instead. I kind of feel that the potato always either taste less cooked or harder in anywhere else instead. Lunch crowd will start flooding in starting from 1130am onwards and if you are coming in for lunch, do remember to come in early or make early reservations. continue reading

I think the price of western food in Astons is very reasonable and attractive. Being bored of the usual stuff for lunch, my colleague and I decided to try Aston. I ordered the salmon spaghetti, which also comes with garlic bread and soup. I think the spaghetti is fantastic, just the right taste for me, and the portions of salmon are generous. Service is good too. Will definitely visit this place again. continue reading

wanted to have western food craving fix with astons and was deciding on which outlet to go, we hope to avoid the crowded outlets so a friend suggested this one at maple business centre since its more of n office space and should n;t have huge crowd. We reached around 7 plus...yes carpark was pretty empty, good sign for us, then we can have a fast yet quiet dinner. When we went upstairs to the restaurant, we were surprised that the restaurant was already half filled. and this outlet is certainly one of the bigger ones. by 830, the restaurant is 90% full. guess the aston name doesn't stop people from driving here despite being out of the way. This time i tried the prime ribeye extra cut with the new side macaroni cheese and potato wedges. The extra cut ribeye is supposedly a larger cut of the ribeye but it looks pretty similar to the normal one, taste also, but still overall grilled well and a good eat. couldn't say the same with the new side dish macaroni and cheese. i thought while Kenny rogers is struggling to keep its consistency on this highly sought after side dish, we have a new alternative...but not gonna be the case. i guess unless they continue to improve on its quality, i ain't ordering this as a side the next time round. continue reading

The chargrill chicken ordered was served with two side dishes, potato wedges and fries. The chicken tasted a little dry the skin tasted a little burnt. The sauce topped tasted peppery. The wedge was a new side dish introduced by Astons and tasted good. Fries tasted alright. Portion generally adequate for one. continue reading

I was craving for western food and decided to Astons Specialities located at Mapletree Business City. I ordered the black pepper chicken with mashed potatoes and pasta as sides. There are a variety of sides to choose from the menu. For just $6.90, you could get a satisfying meal. The restaurant makes a comfortable dining place. continue reading
