My friends and I went to shopping at Sembawang. We decided to have lunch at Astons after we felt hungry. This was my first had lunch at Sembawang branch's Astons.I had ordered the teriyaki chicken with mashed potato and potato salad as my sides. The potato salad at Astons are always my favorite. The chicken tasted nice and tender. The sauce tasted nice also, but tasted a little too salty for me.

Waited rather long for my order to be taken. The opposite table whose order is taken later than us but has their food served first. Decided to have dinner at Astons seeing that the queue was not that long. .Ordered the Salmon Steak with Cajun fries and baked potato for dinner. The Cajun fries were hot and tasty with its seasoning, and baked potato was good too. The salmon was quite tasty but I thought it would be even better if it was a bit more salty. Aston is well known for their generous portion of Western food at affordable prices. Had tried their chicken cutlet and was impressed by their great standard! The chicken cutlet is big in portion and is very crispy and has marinated with just the right taste. Two choices of side dishes can be choose for your main course, which I have choosen onion rings and mashed potato. black pepper chicken with baked potato and butter rice. ($6.9)The chicken is tender and nicely grilled with flavourful black pepper gravy. The gravy is a bit spicy but tasty. I like the baked potato a lot, because the soft potato absorbed the fragrance of the melted butter. The butter rice is also awesome, with some buttery flavour.

Aston's is one of a kind. It is a restaurant with superb and ample food at affordable prices and in good and convenient locations. It is one of my favourite places to eat. NY SteakThe grill lines scarred on the meat is really gorgeous and tempting. I like to have medium well for beef coz i cant accept to have too raw meat. The steak is huge in portion so i always enjoy dining at Aston. Together with two sides, everytime i'll be extremely full even without ordering drinks.

Astons - The classic one.Western food for a very reasonable price. Decided to try this dish out instead of my usual hickory/sausages and I will say that its really good.Chicken came not too greasy, nor too salty. Just nice. However, I find it ironical that I did not touch the lemon lime sauce at all, instead, I prefer the mushroom sauce that my friend requested.
