We came across Aston Specialities restaurant. It is tucked in a quiet corner of RWS. It is away from the crowd who are here at RWS for casino and USS. Price was not high for a couple on a budget.

We reached the restaurant at around 530pm. So there isn't any queues. We are ushered smoothly to a table. Service and environment was pleasant.

Astons offers a wide variety of food, ranging from chicken, fish, spaghetti to steaks. For every poultry meat, it gives customer a variety of ways to be cooked. There is indeed something for every customer.

We are looking to make this a healthy meal. Therefore we choose grilled food, instead of fried food. And both of us choose chicken, as it provides good proteins for our bodies.

I ordered Teriyaki Chicken ($7.90). My gf chose Chargrill Chicken ($7.90). The most wonderful thing about Aston is that there is a list of side dishes for us to choose. Unlike other restaurants, where you have to eat whatever sides they serve you and most notably, there would be the unhealthy french fries.

In Astons, each of us not only can choose 1 side, but 2 sides! As every customer has personal preference, there are cold and hot side dishes. Good!

I have always have a special preference for hot side dishes, notably baked potato, which is my favorite. Astons offers it on their menu, therefore I immediately chose it as one of my side dish. The next side that I chose is garden veggie, to make this a balanced meal for my dinner.
For my gf, she chose coleslaw and mashed potato.

Serving of food to our table is fast. Both of our grilled chicken is cooked well. It was up to my expectations for a simple and budget dinner in an expensive place like RWS. The side dishes are wonderful too. The baked potato was not dry, due to a large portion of butter was served on top of it. Complimentary water was also served.

I certainly have full of praises for Astons Specialities restaurant. I will definitely keep this restaurant in mind, whenever I am at RWS.

We have always loved Astons for their cheap and great Western food.We found one in RWS- one of the few most decent and cheapest fare! On top of that, they do not charge taxes!Their steaks were great, most notably their Porterhouse ($29.90).Their doneness was done perfectly too.Table were kinda cramped and you can hear what the next table's talking about. But hey, for the food, location & price, it's money well spent, and I'd definitely be back again!

Was here for lunch on a friday afternoon and although it wasn't very packed, our food took quite long to come like around 30 minutes. Service was not too bad too as they were quite friendly and would greet us welcome to astons when we first stepped in. I have always like dining in at astons due to the reasonable pricing as what you see on the menu is what you pay in the end. The gst and service charge is already included inside already. I have always like dining in at astons due to the reasonable pricing as what you see on the menu is what you pay in the end. The gst and service charge is already included inside already. So for $7.90 you can get a grilled chicken with bbq sauce on it and also you are able to choose 2 sides to go along with it. I chose the mash potato and the onion rings and i really like it, but the mash potato sauce was a bit not to my liking though.

Overall i would definitely come back to astons again.

Decided to have the Teriyaki Chicken at Astons. It comes with 2 sides (baked potato, BBQ beans, corn on the cob, french fries, garden veggie, mashed potato, onion ring, rice). I chose rice and garden veggie, which was broccoli. The teriyaki chicken was moist and had the strong grill taste. The teriyaki sauce is very thick and sweet, goes very well with the chicken. The rice is just regular rice. The broccoli could be better though. It was slightly overcooked and a little tasteless. Overall, a ve

Overall, a very filling and satisfying meal. Could be further improved by selecting other sides in my opinion. Only $7.90 for the whole set!
