Lunch with my ex colleague at Robertson Quay to catch up on old times. This café has nice ambience of tranquility and it’s clean/tidy with friendly and nice servers. We ordered Mushroom Soup, Pasta, Ice Tea, Ice Cream Rich and creamy mushroom soup was all set to start off the meal. The mushroom aroma is strong with this one.The pasta was cooked al dente and the tomato sauce was very flavourful and well portioned to the pasta. (some places like to slam a big chunk hiding the pasta underneath) Visually appealing as you can see clearly what you’re eating. The ice cream was creamy, smooth and delightful.Would definitely come back again for high tea next time round if I’m in this area! continue reading

I don't think I will ever go back to this place again! We were approached by a young man in skinny T-shirt and jeans for food ordering, after which I realized he was the one who cooked our food too. Anyway, after a long wait (the cafe was rather empty), our appetizer was finally served. The Smoked salmon and Avocado ($13.9) was pretty oily. Smoked salmon slices were Ok, but the sliced avocado were quite raw and slightly crunchy. Some part of the salad even had clump of salts. Another long wait, my Linguine with Prawn ($19.9) same. From the menu it says that the prawn pasta is cooked with tomato basil sauce! However, few bites into it, I was sweating like hell. My tongue was burning as the pasta was so spicy! I'm a chili person, and I can't believe I couldn't stand the "Tomato Basil Sauce". Seriously! Another main course that we ordered was Crab meat and Lobster Ravioli($25.9). This one tasted alright, but I'd say it still doesn't match up with the price at all. continue reading

This is the second time i go to this cafe.I really like the staff their and the environment there.Highly recommended. The coffee is nice.It is thick and we can add sugar and milk by ownself.I feel so embarrass because keep calling the waiters to give me more milk. This sandwich is very big,the bread is crispy and it is not dry as it's look.It is very tasty,it taste a bit salty, and i like the fragrance of the bread. The amount of ham inside is also quite lots. But the thick cheese inside make me feel a bit greasy. The fresh appertiser is very tasty, the cucmber, carrot and chilli bell is very fresh. This make me have a big appetite to finish the big sandwich. continue reading
