Bake Inc (Closed)

I frequent this chain a lot as I find their breads cheap and yummy. There is always a variety to choose from, buns, rolls, cakes and pastries. I bought my usual- raisin cream cheese bread. The bread is soft and fluffy and there is a healthy mix of raisins to go with the sweet cream cheese filling. They bake their cream cheese breads daily and won't keep them overnight to sell again the next day. Best eaten fresh. It was the heart shaped bread which caught my attention as I passed by their outlet in hougang point this morning. Taking a closer look,Oh..it's blueberry bread with raisin on it and I bought one to try. The heart shaped bread was loaded with thick layers of blueberry fillings in the centre and topped with icing sugar. And with lots of raisins on the bread too. It was soft and freshly baked. Must really try this pandan cake out at Bake Inc. cause you will not regret it. The pandan cake has the nice pandan smell which I really miss it and smell very fragrant. It's so nice and delicious that I managed to finish the whole piece of cake in two mouthful. Has quite been sometimes never taste pandan cake like that before Will continue to buy my pandan cake from them in future )

Bake Inc sells quite tasty pandan cake. I bought a small one and it costs me only $2. The bigger one costs $4. The pandan cake does have the pandan leave aroma. It was very soft and spongy. Once you put it into your mouth, it is easily digested beacuse it was not too dry, unlike some other brands where I will feel choked. The level of sweetness was just nice and it is one of the better quality ones that I have tried. One small size pandan cake can easily serves four people.

I was looking to buy a bread or something like that when I noticed that Bake Inc sells Hong Kong Style Bo Luo Bao. The appearance was very nice and looks very tempting so decided to get one. The taste was average only. Not very fluffy and it was a bit tough or hard and quite tasteless except for the top crust layer that was more sweet. I had tried those from crystal jade bakery and I must say that personally crystal jade's ones are much better.

I was at Hougang Festive Market so popped into Bake Inc to get some bread for supper or next day's breakfast. Walked one round and decided to get the coffee bun. By its name, it was supposed to have some coffee taste but so sad, there was not even a slight taste of coffee. The bread was not soft at all, instead it was a little bit hard. Maybe I should have bought some other breads or buns. I will give it another chance.
