I have passed by this Bakery Cuisine outlet to but a cake for my supper with family. This outlet is very clean and neat and all pastries and cakes are very presentable and lookis fresh as well. I have bought a small loaf of butter cake. At merely three dollars, this loaf of cake was share among myself and my mother and sister. THe butter flavour in it was quite rich and the cake texture was moist and soft. It was not too sweet which is great for those health conscious group. The staffs here are quite polite as well. continue reading

I had passed by this bakery many times. Did not stop until I caught a nice smelling aroma from this stall. A tray of freshly baked Hokkaido cakes was out. As it was still hot I could not buy it. Well next time. This time I had chosen a Coffee Mexican and a Tuna bun. When I bought the Coffee Mexican bun it was still warm. One bite can feel the bun was very soft. The skin's very sweet even the bottom.I bit into the center I can taste the butter. A little saltish, when have it together the skin it tasted very nice, sweetish and saltish. Cost $1.60 I ate the Tuna bun 4 hours later after I bought. I can feel that the bun slightly hard, had to put in the microwave to heat up. Once heated up the bun was soft and filling tasted good. It was not as sweet as the Coffee bun. Cost $1.40 continue reading

I used to buy the Hokkaido fluffy cake from Bakery Cuisine, and that day I decided to try out something new - the tiny little 'durian' cake. For the price of $6.00, you could get eight of the tiny cakes. The cake has a fluffy texture too, but slightly on the dry side. The taste has a rich eggy flavour. However the durian filling is too little that disappoints me so much. Hopefully they could be more generous on the durian paste next time. continue reading

Located at Tanjong Pagar Xchange, Bakery Cuisine is conveniently within reach. They sells quite a few type of yummy stuffs. My favourite has to be the Doriyaku durian ($2.5) and Hokkaido cake Hazelnut ($2.5). The Doriyaku in durian flavour is yummy! The durian filling is very generous and not overly sweet! The Hokkaido cake is so fluffy in texture that it sort of just melt in your mouth. The hazelnut cream filling is pleasantly tasty too! continue reading

The feeling inside is durian, and when i bite it i feel that they are fresh durian. It is also not very creamy or anything which means it is not mixed much with other ingredident but mostly durian puree. This is good for snacking or after meal which you can do your work while working. Anyway it will have a strong smell in your mouth after eating, so please rinse your mouth after eating. If you are not a durian flavour, there's choc, cheese, redbean. continue reading
