BBQ chicken $10Portion was very small for this price but it was well-marinated and chicken was tender. lemongrass seabass $29the flesh was really soft and tender and the gravy was spicy and really sour. It went well with white rice too.prawn tanghoon with pepper $10.80. There were 3 prawns in it but their texture was quite soft. The tanghoon was drenched in black pepper gravy and was smooth. Enjoy the drench of the specially prepared peanut sauce over them as the sauce strikes just the right punch of sweet and spicy taste which is highly addictive. Beware!

Cost: S$8.50

What's Thai Food without ordering the traditional and authentic green curry? Chosen the chicken version over the beef, the dish comes with some splatter of coconut milk on its top with tender chicken meat drunken by the green "light cream" soup alike of Thai curry. It's a simply good to the point that just the dish alone will go well with a plate of plain fragrant rice. And this portion is good enough for 2.
Cost: S$12.00

Drools over the tenderness of the deep marinated chicken wrapped by leaves with the pandan fragrance giving a punch to the entire dish. Becareful as you tear open them as these golden brown gems were served pipping hot. Not forgetting its accompanied chilli, for extra kick, do douse some on the chicken.
Cost: S$14.00

The food was pretty good but the service was a total let down. We was frantically waving countless times to catch attention as we need to make additional orders to the drinks but in the end we had given up as we need to catch up an appointment. Even for billing, it took us a long while to get the bill to our table as well.

Last but not least, for those who enjoy promotional value, you can order their set meal at a better value. As I'm ordering ala carte from their menu, with the amount spent, it is more worth while to top up a bit more to enjoy more plates of food.

Tahu Telur - a type of Indonesian beancurd (fried with egg??). The exterior is very crisp while the beancurd is soft and goes well with the sweet condiment provided. The tom yum soup is quite spicy and I always order the small pot which is meant for 2 people but it can serve 4 people. The prawns used for the tom yum soup does not seem like the fresh ones. The sambal kangkong there could be spicier though.

This particular dish belongs to the Bali cuisine. As most of Indonesian BBQ would be, the sauce was slightly sweet. The sotong was very thick and juicy, but the fish was a little too hard and dry. Some might prefer to say that it was crispy but personally I didn't like fish to be fried till such a stage. It's quite worth it for the price (though I couldn't remember how much was it). If you have nothing against the sweet nature of the sauce, it would be worth a try.

I went to bali thai with my family for dinner. We ordered their delicious green curry, pineapple rice and their grill set. The grill set was amazing. There was a combination of various seafood like sotong, prawns and fish. There was also satay and a quarter chicken. The fish was really large, could not believe that they actually gave us a whole fish. The fish itself was very fish and it was very meaty too. The prawns were the king prawns, very huge and juicy. I loved the service at westmall's bali thai. They're always standing around waiting to see if any of their customers need anything.

So anyways, for starters they served us crackers, which came with some thai sauce.I expected the crackers to be bitter but it wasnt.I really like it!

I used to hate the taste of green curry but after tasting it a couple of times, i began to like it alot. Tired the green curry at bali thai together with their tahu goreng.Although, it's really appetising and delicious however the price is really kinda over-priced. If i'm not wrong for just the tahu goreng, it's around 10 SGD already. The green curry was about SGD 12 but the portion is quite pathetic for the price.I went with a friend and total amount adds up to around 27 SGD, but i wasn't even

However, i'd still recommend the green curry there. It's really nice. Tahu goreng's portion is slightly bigger, you can get it if you're sharing with your friends/family. Because it gets kinda sick eating a bigger portion of it, a small portion will be perfect and nice!

I would say that the tom yum here is of average standard but the green curry on the other hand, it’s pretty good. Not overly spicy and went perfectly with the fragrant rice! Hmm come to think about it, they served the tom yum in individual bowls (we came in a group of 8) so maybe it’s not as enticing as a hot pot of tom yum? Shall come again to try.

Bali Thai serves really great and authentic Thai food. I went to the Bali Thai outlet at West Mall with my friends for a dinner gathering. I p aid less than $10 for the meal and I think the price is quite reasonable.

My family frequents Bali Thai for special occasions.. birthdays, anniversaries, 1st pay check n so on. The place keeps popping in our mind each time we feel the need to celebrate…Probably because, at one time, when I called to reserve seats for my family, they reserved for us a special seating booth for us and we could be by ourselves for a mini birthday celebration, complete with cakes and candles. Probably because, at one time, when I called to reserve seats for my family, they reserved for us a special seating booth for us and we could be by ourselves for a mini birthday celebration, complete with cakes and candles. That might have given a lasting impression to my family and we keep requesting for the same place for our dinners there. And each time we have our dinners there, we would always order the same ol' but definitely delicious main dishes
.

Tahu Telor
– not sure why but the black sauce that goes with the tahu telor are getting thicker and lesser each time we dine there. Nevertheless, I still order this without fail when we dine there

Mango Salad – not my fave as it’s the mango salad are too sour
at times but the dish is meant to have the sour taste.

Green Curry – luv it..luv it.. I can just slurp on the gravy till dry. The mutton meat is sweet and succulent too.

Beef Rendang – normal standard taste, nuthin special.. my dad luv it though.. keep asking me to order it…

Cumi Bali – another fave of mine, will never fail to order this.. I can eat the whole dish by myself..heheh...but portions too small though..

Ayam Panggang Bali
– same taste as the cumi bali except its chicken….

Next up... mommy's burfdae.. c u at Bali Thai....
