With the recommendations from my various friend for the dry version of the ban mian from this stall. Here I am today to try out the ban mian. After looking through the cooking process, it is actually the same as cooking the soup version of the ban mian just that the soup has been removed. The seasoning of is made up of the addition of vinegar, dark soy sauce and chili. This three sauces combined together to form a unique taste which suits perfectly with the ban mian. The taste is quite different from the minced meat noodle seasoning. The ban mian itself is sufficiently cooked and the serving is quite a lot as well. Other ingredients include minced pork and some sliced vegetable. Last but not least, the soup is full of flavours and is not too salty and goes very well with the ban mian. Thumbs up for their dry version of the ban mian and will definitely recommend to my friends !! Come try it if you like ban mian.

One of the few foods that you can find in NUH that is nice! I like this fish soup with thick bee hoon. It was awesome and well cooked. The soup had mild sweetness which came from the fish and slightly. I like heavy taste, hence, the soup was the best i like. The ingredients they added was about the same from what others had. But their fish was fresh. My friend that ordered the fried fish said that it was equally nice too! Each bowl costs $3.50!

It is another round of tom yum noodles but this time I choose ban mian instead. Ban mian is handmade noodles that is done through cutting it into straight strands using a wooden block as a ruler. Every strands are even in size and texture. So with the combination of the tom yum soup base and the handmade noodles (Ban Mian), it creates an unique way of eating Ban Mian rather than just serving in normal soup base. Tom yum is a typical spicy clear soup from Laos and Thailand. I do try tom yum soup

I do try tom yum soup in Thailand before and it is usually clear soup base, not like those found in Singapore which the colour is more orange or red. Gotta try authentic ones in Thailand itself or maybe Golden Mile which is a little Thailand in Singapore.

For this bowl of Tom Yum Ban Mian, the ingredients are the common ones that can be found in normal Ban Mian. There are egg, small amount of minced meat and ikan bilis, and not forgetting vegetables. Nothing special yet again. The noodles is not properly cooked as some stick together and it is hard and thick. I had a terrible time finishing the whole bowl as not to let it waste. The soup base was fine and is spicy. The vegetables are crunchy surprisingly.

It costs me $3.60 for this bowl using Kopitiam Card. Usual price at $4.50. I do need to find a good stall that sells nice Ban Mian rather than those from foodcourts.

feel like having something healthier so went down to eat the fried fish noodle. although the food looked and smell quite nice, the soup itself was quite bland and it just tasted like MSG milky water. but the staff was quite generous with the fried fish slices as well as the noodles.
