The ban mian stall at koufu is one of my favorite stall as recently my friends and i need to rush on our report and thus, recently we had our lunch or dinner very often at Koufu as this is the nearest canteen from our lab. I like the soup served from the stall as the soup had a just nice level of sweetness. I had ordered the dumplings noodle. I like the dumpling served with the ginger and vinegar. It tasted very NICE!!Will definitely order this dish again and again.. continue reading

the ban mian stall at koufu is almost one of the stalls that i often patronise, because i love their soup broth which is quite tasty. the noodle is springy and chewy, cooked till just nice would not be too soggy. i prefer to order their you mian or dumpling mee, the dumpling is very nice to eat together with the vinegar and ginger stripes. there are also fried anchovies and fried shallot on top that added some flavour and crunchines to the noodle. continue reading

Today I went to koufu for lunch with my friends. It was quite early, about 11am which is why we managed to find some seats quite easily. I ordered the U-mian from Ban Mian stall. There was quite a long queue and the auntie was a little impatient, however, I have used to her character, so I made my order without a second thought so that she won't have to wait for too long. I always love the dried anchovies added into the soup. It makes the soup tastes sweeter and smells nicer. Today's U-Mian is quite nice, the egg is just nicely boiled Like it a lot, always. continue reading

I tried this noodles for the first time from one of my friends. I have never tried fry noodles in my school before because to me the soup one was nice enough so every time I'm at Ban Mian store, I would only order Ban Mian. So the fried noodles gave me a quite good impression. The noodles is very well cooked. Not too soggy or hard. The sauce thy provided is just nice for one portion. Not too much. Plus, the dumpling was very big. There are 4 to 5 pieces in 1 serving. Inside the dumpling has minced meat and carrot with some other minced vegetable. Very Well cook. It was very nice having this noodles with chilli continue reading

This store is located at Kaki Bukit Ave 1 in Koufu food court.Today, I order the yu mee (thin noodles) for lunch. This bowl of Noodles is the best Ban Mian I have ever eaten. It is cheap and good. It contains of Pork minced meat, ikan bilis, vegetables, seaweeds, spring onions and eggs-you can have a choice of egg or without egg. I like the most is the ikan bilis which is big and crispy and U mee is very tender and the soup is very tasty and not salty at all.The price is $2.80 per bowl. continue reading
