The ban mian ($3, dry one costs $3.50) that this stall sells is not too bad! The noodles are very chewy and springy! Even though I took quite long to finish up my meal as I wasn't hungry, but the noodles did not thicken/expand much! There's generous amount of pork, vegetables and egg in it as well. The dry one is the same, without the soup, but with black sauce instead. Do add some shallots and ikan bilis for more flavour! continue reading

Quite ordinary stall here, vendors are friendly though. not a long queue during lunch time, service is quite fast, price is standard compare to outside stalls. I tried eating both ban mian and mee hoon kuey, quantity given was not very generous, (not filling too), i ate at around 12+pm then at around 3+pm i was hungry again. the ban mian taste alrite, served hot and noodles were just nice (not hard not soft). Mee hoon kuey is quite average too. nothing special about it, but i'll still visit this stall when other stalls are long queue though. continue reading

My first time trying the mee hoon kueh from this store and it was quite delicious.(:The mee hoon kueh is soft and the soup is rich in flavour. Even though some parts of the mee hoon kueh stick together and was a little hard, it was still nice. The portion and ingredients are fulfilling and given the price, it is worth it. Would have it again;D continue reading

Brought a bowl of Ban Mian for lunch today. Firstly the taste of the soup was quite nice and frangance. Amount of vegetable given was a bit little, could ask for more. As for the mince pork, it was well cooked and a nice texture. As for the noodle, soft and smooth texture. Amount of noodle given was acceptable. For the chilli, quite waterly but taste good, goes well with the mince pork and noodle.Overall quite full after finish this bowl of Ban Mian. continue reading
