Was craving for some simple snacks when visited this thai food restaurant and bought their populat fried chicken wings to try. Was rather disappointed by the small portion served to me. However taste was not too bad and the chicken meat was marinated till very flavourful before deep fried. Chicken meat is also juicy and easy to chew. For less than $15 I spent, is quite reasonable. Restaurant is cosy and service is friendly too. continue reading

Tod Mun Goong $9.904 pieces of prawn cakes wrapped around lemon grass. There was no lemon grass fragrance but the prawn cakes were deep-fried to golden brown and had a good exterior texture. The bread crumbs were crisp and not soggy. The taste of the prawn cakes were nothign to rave about though.vermicelli salad with seafoodthe dressing was too sour for my liking but it had a refreshing taste. seafood were not that fresh.service was slow and unattentive continue reading

Went for thai food yet again (and wondering why my friends like thai food so much)Appetizer was good, especially when you have a hungry stomach. Mango strips and spice complement perfectlySoup is good as well (better than average tom yum), but could have more stuff inside and the portion can be biggerThis is nice and i like the squid which complements the sauce. But the prawn tastes a little dry and they can be bigger in size. continue reading

Ate at Bangkok Jam some time ago, at their Great World City branch! I also went to their Plaza Singapura branch the other day, hahaha. Anyway, my favourite was the Banana Tempura dessert! *.*Heard quite a bit of rave for these chicken wings. Not bad, but a tad too little meat I feel!Banana TempuraIt wasn't very soggy as it looks. Mix the warm Banana with the cold ice cream, and you'll get the perfect combination! For full review and more photos, please visit http://www.iisjong.com/2013/04/bangkok-jam.html continue reading

Decided to have something Thai for dinner so my friends and I head over to Great World City's Bangkok Jam to have something spicy. I decided to skip my usual favorite, Tom Yum Soup to something that I don't usually order - Phad Thai. Heard from some friends that they serve really good Phai Thai so I guess it's doesn't harm to try. I was pleased with my food when it was served to me as it smell really good and looks appetizing. The ingredients used is fresh and I like the crunchiness of the prawns. It tasted quite sweet though for me. Portion was okay, though it could slightly be a bit more for the price I was paying. It is a satisfying dinner after all. continue reading
