I visited BBBS @ Robertson Quay for a gathering with some friends of mine. First things first, this place is quite hard to reach. However, since it's quite inaccessible, what you get is a laid-back atmosphere in a Clarke Quay look-alike spot. It's quite refreshing but the thing about this area is that it. is. really. BBBS is a fusion bar/restaurant with Thai, Indian and Western cuisine. It's an interesting dining concept, but unfortunately, what I ordered was really substandard.

The portion of the Platterz Cheeseburger was miserable. The buns weren't fresh. Also, the burger came with fries that weren't that hot and tomato sauce in this small little disposable sauce dish. When we asked for more tomato sauce, guess what the waiter did? With this half-confused, half-irritated look on his face, he stared at us for a couple of seconds and actually did this facepalm thing before walking away. He never returned with what we asked for.

All I can say is... what the...?!

Substandard food, HORRIBLE service (even the table behind us was complaining like crazy!), too hot to handle environment (no fans except for ONE area...) - it's such a shame because Robertson Quay is a very good place to chill out at in general. Too bad cos there are way better bars in the area e.g. Verre which is just down the row (escaped there after BBBS). Pfft, never coming back here!

Situated on Robertson Quay, Bar Bar Black Sheep is special because it is not just a tourist hang-out like many of the bars on Clarke and Boat Quays but a good mix of tourists and locals, many out for a stroll with babies and /or dogs in tow. The food is not the gourmet variety, but perfectly acceptable and good. Fantastic bar, choice of 3 types of cuisine, thai, Indian and Western so could mix and match, Excellent prices. Tandoori platter fantastic
