While it is good to receive a reminder about a dinning reservation but it is another when it is sent about a wrong timing. There goes first impression.The restaurant is at the end of Amara Hotel with both indoor and outdoor seating. While it is good to receive a reminder about a dinning reservation but it is another when it is sent about a wrong timing. There goes first impression.

The restaurant is at the end of Amara Hotel with both indoor and outdoor seating. Inside the restaurant it looks quite dimmed, but we are lucky to be showed to a table just under the spot light. The ceiling is rather high with a huge mirror and painting decorating the wall. The tables are quite near to each other. The choices on the menu ($35++/pax) look good.

 Country Duck Terrine, House Made Pickles & Mustard which tastes a bit too dry.

Also add a recommended dish which is Tart Flambee ($12++) The Classic -Bacon & Onions. The crust is very thin and crispy. With just finely chopped onions and bacon, it tastes nice.

 Traditional Creme Brulee which is served cold
(I like mine warm and hot).

Overall we are wowed by the place but not the food. Serving is big. Service is a bit slow. Have to call for refill of water. Food is served quite fast except for dessert.

We went there to celebrate my friend's birthday.They had set lunch 2 course or 3 course available at $32 and $38 respectively.The place was exclusive, ambience was very nice with the naked angel theme, the resto was linked to Amara Hotel.They first served us bread and butter. I ordered 2 course set lunch, soup and ravioles pasta.
My friend ordered the chicken, she said it's very nice.
The soup was very special and nice, they put the soup in a nice vintage bowl.
My friend ordered the salad as her appetizer, and the presentation was very nice.
The soup and salad was nice!
The main course was nice too! The ravioles is just right, not so much, and the taste was quite nice, but maybe the chicken is even nicer.
My friend who ordered 3 course had the desserts, apple crumble with ice cream.. it was delicious!!! there's rum in it and the taste was so strong, so shiok!
According to my friend, the wine was relatively cheaper than the normal restaurants, I don't drink wine/alcohol, so I'm not too sure on this.
Anyway since we came to celebrate a friend's birthday, they mentioned that if we celebrate there, they will charge us $5/person!!
That's like super expensive, can buy another starbucks for each person!
But anyway overall it was great, nice ambience, great food, the waitress was quite nice too, at least she told us in advance that the birthday celebration was chargeable haha.

This European style restaurant certainly has attracted my attention for its nice decoration and layout. Lots of woods are used on its decoration, which is quite cosy and really has that European-style feel. I have ordered the whole free-range chicken. At the $38 per whole chicken, the meat is very tender and juicy. Roasted till really fragrant, and filled with generous amount of apple puree and fresh tasty mushroom as well. The restaurant manager is also very friendly and approachable too.
