Adorable slogan of the restaurant I saw, it was not Barbeque but BBQ (Best of the Best Quality). Korean’s No 1 Chicken Restaurant, it had been doing good and assured top standard of food provided. The serving process was quick and accurate.Chef’s recommended dish, it came along with Coleslaw, French Fries, Mashed Potato and Olive Rice. The drumstick served was obviously fresh and spicy, it was the recipe originated straight from Korea. Two pieces for $15.50, it was fulfilling and worth the value. continue reading

After company event at Toa Payoh Sports Hall we walked over to the central there for dinner. Due to the hot weather, we decided to dine in air conditioned place so we chose to go BBQ Chicken. I remembered we went to Tampines One branch before and was disappointed with the food and service but this time since different branch we decided to try it out again. We top up for soup and drink for a complete meal. As for the little one she opted for pizza and we go for the teriyaki chicken flavoured pizza. Unfortunately, the picture on the menu turned out to be different from what we were being served. We went ahead to eat it anyway because we were all very hungry and we think that maybe because it was nearing their closing time so some of the side dishes might not be available but I think is a responsibility for the staffs to inform us upon our ordering. Mashed Potato was cold, it was not even warm so it was very unappetizing. The chicken was rather fatty and the whole combination seems not right. I don't think I'll patronise this place again.Price: $26 per pax (2 adults + 1 child) continue reading

Usually when i pass by this restaurant, I will always be able to smell the nice barberque chicken meat smell outside there. Finally my friends wanted to check out the food here which really make me very happy. I have bought one of their signature dish: Black pepper chicken steak. Without disappointment, the chicken meat is very tender and juicy. Love the heavy and spicy black pepper flavour in it. The french fries are crispy and not too oily. The mashed potato, which i think is quite tasteless and abit too dry. The restaurant is big and cooling but the service was not really prompt and friendly. continue reading

This is one interesting eatery. It is not a Malay restaurant.. yet, most if not all the staff are Malays or Indian Muslims. So you have Malay crew staff with Korean MTVs playing on the overhead televisions. Not that I have anything against this setting. It just felt, extraordinary. BBQ Chicken often has promotions that entice patrons; the best I like from them is the buy 1 get 1 free offer. A choice of main dish from their listed and you can choose another listed dish as the free item. Obviously, being the typical Singaporean, make the money's worth, I went for what was supposedly the most worth it meal.. ordering the Fish & Chips as the free dish. The friend tried the 'signature' fried chicken wings. Seriously? The meals were too big for us to stomach all, without bursting our stomach seams. I could barely finish the fish and the friend could barely finish another part of the wing. The fries were alright, not too burnt or 'empty'. The coleslaw was fresh. Ice water is not served at this restaurant. continue reading

Ordered the Jamaican jerk with fries & mash, one garlic pizza and one teriyaki chicken pizza. Went to this joint with the groupon voucher bought online for $15 which gets you $30 worth of food. 1st i must say the voucher is a bad buy as it cannot be used for set meals and their set meals cost around $15 only. my total bill was $36 so end up dun really save that much. i like the Jamaican jerk which is the grilled portion, a little pity that the portion was too small to fully enjoy it. The pizza is average only, was hoping that we get it real hot but it didn't. but it did not taste too bad either. There wasn't any special sauce or dip to go along so i made do with the normal bottle chilli. i would likely return to try their drum drum set next time which is suppose to be delightfully spicy continue reading
