I have bought it for my lunch today. This BBQ chicken set is definitely one of my all-time favourite food for lunch and dinner. The barberqued chicken drumstick was really huge and the chicken meat is very tender and juicy, really easy to slice through. This rice set also comes along with an omelette, some preserved vegetables are used as the side dish, which is really crunchy and slightly spicy. . Their chilli sauce very easy to eat as it is not too spicy and abit sweet in taste. At mere $5.00 per set, very cheap and good! continue reading

I have been buying food from this store on and off. Their roast whole chicken (honey or black pepper) is pretty good, always sold out by 7pm+. Today they are only left with chicken chop, mini wings and chicken leg. So I chose to buy the Chicken leg rice $5.00. Chicken leg is actually chicken drumstick with thigh. They served it with either white rice or 'pineapple rice' with some achar. Their 'pineapple' rice has very little pineapple, it only looks yellow with bits of fake crabstick...but I still prefer to have this compared to the white rice. Today's chicken leg is slightly over roasted on the outside...but the meat inside was still tender, not too bad. The rice is nothing to rave about but goes well with the chicken. Achar is not bad too. continue reading

This stall serves a variety of food - including Carrot Cake, Rojak and Popiah - in addition to its specialty, BBQ Chicken wings.Tried the Rojak for the first time. I ordered the smaller portion for $4 and asked for less chilli. While the rojak was tasty, the portion contained more pineapple and turnip thanyou tiao and tau pok. The ''you-tiao'' and ''tau-pok'' had been toasted, so they tasted crunchy, but they had been cut into really small pieces. It was tough finding them, under the rojak gravy. There were plenty of crunchy nuts, so that was good. There was a lot of leafy vegetable as well. One important matter, though. The plate was chipped, so that could pose a hygiene issue. It would be good if the amount of ''you-tiao'' and ''tau-pok'' is increased. continue reading

Having lunch with colleague at nex shopping mall this afternoon and we suggested to try out this bbq chicken which looks tempting from the display at the "bbq delight" stall which just locate directly outside ntuc express. We bought one whole honey bbq chicken which only cost $7.60 and brought back to the office which it share among 4 of us. I took the first bite on the chicken thigh, meat was damn jucy, tender and the barbeque honey sauce is great on the chicken which doesn't taste very sweet compare to other bbq chicken. My colleague and i got the same commend "such tasty marinade bbq chicken we will definetly return to the stall again!" continue reading
