In Chinese traditional, when it comes a baby full month (the first month of his or her birth), their parents will call for a celebration. Some choose to organise party, buffet and some choose to delivery cake from house to house. Well, in the new 21st century, Bengawan solo had came out with this full month vouchers for the parents to buy it and delivery to family and friends. I personally feel that buying voucher is a good idea because i save the energy to carry it around and also the person will only redeem the cake when they want it, if not they can pass it to other people. I received one a few days ago and i went to redeem it today, the cake was so awesome. Bengawan solo had never failed to give the best cake ever. The cake i redeemed was a walnut cake, it is so spongy and soft, that every bite will make some small little pieces to fall on the floor. The softness of the cake can last for days which makes tasted like fresh baked. The walnut is the best part out of all which helps to add in some crunchiness to the soft cake and make it awesome! The aroma of the cake was so strong that it can be smell from a distance- the light vanilla smell. The appearance was not very nice as there is no decoration on it nor the colour looks attractive. However, i think the packaging of the cakes should be improved. If i left it on the table, there were be ants crawling on it the next day. So i think it is better to have some fully seal zip-log bag of what to prevent ants from entering.

Bengawan sole cakes usually never fail to impress us during all kinds of occasions. This time we have bought their classic chocolate cake to celebrate my cousin twenty-one birthday. The chocolate coating is very nice and thick in texture. THe cake is moist of filled with the butter fragrant in it as well. THe price is reasonable and we all certainly has another round of enjoyment eating their cake.

The bun texture is quite soft and fluffy inside and the outer layer is baked till very nice golden brown colour which is fragrant and deliciuos. The chicken floss is quite generous in portion and the topped mayonnise sauce also blend in really well with the chicken floss as well. The combination of the chicken floss, mayonnise and bun are simply so tasty and appetitizing which make you want to crave for more.

I always like cakes and kuens from bengawa solo. Felt that their 'products' are rather good quality at a resonable price as compare with other cakes and kuens from other shop. Bengawan Solo's cakes are not only affordable, the taste is definitely not compromised as a result. This strawberry cake giving the cake a super duper strawberry taste, awesomeness! YUMMY!! Had a very enjoyable birthday celebration!!

My girlfriend bought a little snack for me from bengawan solo. She bought my favourite kueh ambon. It was really delicious. the ambon was not too sweet, the centre of the slice was very light and moist. It was quite a small slice and it cost 90 cents. Not very worth the money. If only they cut larger slices than only would it be worth it, cos the flavours are there. the texture is chewy and delicious. the ambon is very fragrant.
