Here for the famous prawn noodle on a particular Sunday apparently the shutter for the prawn noodle shop was down and that means no prawn noodle for that day. The only choice left was to go over to the coffee shop to have lunch.This particular stall in the coffee shop claimed to serve authentic nonya foods thus aroused my curiosity. I went ahead to order for a piece of fried chicken, pork chop and steamed egg. I requested to have curry sauce pour over my rice. The fried chicken looked rather tasty but i was proven wrong after the first bite. It was rather oily and not very well marinated thus the inner layer of the meat tasted rather plain. The pork chop was equally disappointing, it tasted tough and dry. The steamed egg was pretty alright though. I paid $5.50 for this plate of rice as i was told the fried chicken itself was already $3.00. This is going to be a one time off experience.
