Tonite I am invited to my classmate's wedding dinner. It is hosted at the ballroom which is located at second level of the expo. The place is easy to reach by MRT and there is plenty of carpark lots in the open space carpark. Although it is a 30 tables wedding dinner, the stage looks a bit small. We are served soft drinks, tea, beer and red wine free flow.Bliss Garden Cold Dish 福满大拼盘The dish is quite standard for a mutli course chinese style dinner.Braised Shark's Fin Soup with Crab Meat 蚧肉鱼翅Sel
The dish is quite standard for a mutli course chinese style dinner.
Seldom see this dish these days, as most will opt for double boiled soup or bird nest soup to save the sharks.
The chicken tastes not bad but the crackers taste a bit flat.
Seldom see steamed fish served this style as one is expecting the traditional soya sauce cantonese style or teochew style. I do not quite take to the spicy taste although most of the guests like it.
Another rare dish which one seldom see in dinner these days as it is quite expensive. The skin is well char and crispy.
The prawn is fresh and the cereal is light and crispy which most went for seconds.
Interesting having fish maw in this dish which has kinda of sticky texture.
The noodle is well cooked and flavourful.
The red bean paste is thick and rich. The skin of the rice ball is a bit too thick.
Overall the food is not bad. Drink is refilled regularly. The only con is when the sound system havings problems for a short period of time.
