There used to be 2 chicken rice stall at Zion River side hawker centre.. it is just right beside of each other. their chicken is not bad, but not tender enough, the rice abit too oily and chilli abit too sour.. I always order their soupy wanton mee, as I like the soup. the cha siew is thick and fragrant... And the noodles is springy, but slightly hard... Recommended their soupy wanto mee!

Been passing by this stall for a couple of times and often find there was a queue. Always thought of giving it a try but never get to do it until today. I had mine packed to go, the fragrant from the packet was so aromatic all the way back to my workplace. With chicken rice, the important thing to look out is the rice and they must not be wet and lumpy but every grain must be separated then it will be perfect. With chicken rice, the important thing to look out is the rice and they must not be wet and lumpy but every grain must be separated then it will be perfect. So this stall did their rice well and on top of it I figured that they probably put some rose water into the rice cos it did taste like it. Their chicken meat was tender and smooth and the chilli quite normal and at $3 a packet.

I was craving for chicken rice and happy to spot this supposedly famous chicken stall amongst others. I enjoyed the tender and juicy chicken with nicely cooked rice. The condiments like chilli and ginger sauce were rather good too particularly the chilli sauce, i like the tinge of lime that enhanced the level of spiciness. The portion given was definitely good for $3.00 together with a nice cabbage soup.

If you like it with oyster sauce vegetable, you can get their set at only $4.00.
