Near the MRT station, there is a park called Bottle Tree Park where one can fish, play paintball, and swan paddling. Besides these activities, there is also a seafood restaurant here. The restaurant is by the big pond, where one can have a great view of the nature while dining in the open. Besides open air dining, there is also indoor air-con dining in area. The menu is quite limited.

Yu Sheng (Raw Fish Salad)
The raw fish salad is not bad and I taste of crunchy jellyfish.

Fried Longevity Noodles (Large)
I am expecting pinkish mee sua, but I am surprised with a ee mee look alike dish. The noodle is well braised and flavourful. The small eggs are dyed to a bright red in colour and look like cherry tomatoes at first glance.

Traditional Fried Rice (Large)
The simple fried rice is full of wok hei taste, and has lots of Chinese sausage in it. Yummy.

Dividing the costs (including a pot of Chinese tea) among nine of us, each of us paid about $12. Overall the food is not bad. The place is quite relaxing too.

We decided to ask the person and they went to check and change it for us although they claim that was supposed to be the taste. The service is good though we waited for sometime to be seated and enjoy the meal. The place was clean as they tire it up after each customer. The price was reasonable too.

My family loves coming here for lunch. It may not be the best place but we love the laidback feel to it. Food wise it is quite okay, nothing over the top.We ordered some of our favourite dishes that day I like the sambal kangkong.. not as oily as some places. Simple comfort food, hotplate toufu with prawns! This sweet and sour fish is too sweet for my liking, it can be better. It even has fruits in it! My all time favourite - Chilli crabs. The size of the crabs here are big! Yummy.

It is also a great place for families because of the prawning pond located right beside this restaurant, which always makes for good pre or post dinner activity. I personally recommend post because it has a bar there as well, so while the kids are having the time of their lives prawning, parents can still enjoy the night with a cold beer.

The food was pretty decent, but nothing extremely fancy. I simply enjoy the place because there isn't a long queue or a crowd. The sambal sotong was yummy though, it wasn't too tough or chewy, and their sambal chili was good. I wouldn't recommend the cereal prawns though, or perhaps it was just our luck, but they weren't very fresh. We had much more luck with the barbequed prawns from the pond.

While the place still bears the nice old restaurant feeling by the seaside, the food quality has definitely drop way off the mark. The usual crispy pork knuckle is not crispy and smells hint of bad quality pork. The soy sauce steam fish is decent while the steam egg crab was too bland to my killing and it was only served after all other dishes was finished. Its probably my last visit there. i would go to the Yishun outlet from now onwards. BottleTree, please do not disappoint me again...please.

Kids can go over there to try out catching fishes along a lake and bring them home, whereas adults/couples might wanna try going there for prawn-ing~

Besides that, there's a Chinese restaurant and Japanese restaurant available too~
We went to the Chinese Restaurant this time round~

It was a little under my expectations as the environment was an excellent choice for fine dinning~

We ordered their special dish called the Beggar Chicken~
As it was quite a unique presentation whereby it was served covered in some hard light brown material (clay maybe?) and the server would use a hammer to break it apart before serving it to out table.

However, aside from the unique presentation, the dishes were rather average nothing too different from what u can find in other Chinese restaurants.

Good place to go if u have relatives over from overseas, large family gathering or even for a simple family time

Heard that the beggar chicken is good. So, we went specially down to try this dish. However, we were told that they only supplied 5 chickens per day and unfortunately, there was a mini banquet that day that booked all the beggar chicken.

So in the end we ordered:
- Roasted chicken. The roasted chicken turned out to be very well done, the skin was golden in colour and the taste was perfectly right, we like roasted chicken tat are on the salty side.

- Duck and salted vegetable soup. There was only one size. The soup taste great too, seem to have boil it for many hours. However, the portion was too big. There was 4 of us and we could not finish it.

- Claypot Fish Head . This dish was horrible. There was a lot of fish scales on the fish head. We barely ate this dish.

- Buttercream Prawns - The sauce taste artificial. We do not like this dish.

The rest of the dishes - vegetables and dessert were pretty normal. In overall, the food should be quite value for money in view of the large portions served, provided have to order the right dishes. Before visiting, have heard that their services standard was quite low. However, perhaps i went on a weekday, i did not face any service problems.
