was one of the few days where my bf and i had wanted to eat outside and I had wanted to go to a place with 'water'.. for the ambience so we decided to walk along boat quay to find a place to eat.. Firstly.. I must say the whole stretch of boat quay.. either its 'kill-angmo' seafood places, too crowded and noisy with drinks and football watching.. or places like BQ with ok food, but BAD service. Wah i can tell u I was quite irritated with the waitress!!! Shes so rude, doesnt look at u when she ask for your order.. and even though its happy hour I dun usually drink so my bf had ordered a beer first and asked for an extra glass and she gave me the "are u too poor to have 2 beers look". URGH. After i had ordered chicken tikka and my bf had the lamp wrap and she gave me a chicken wrap.. hah how happy i was to give her back a "you got my order wrong look" =P Sorry if i go to a place and i pay service charge n gst so i expect DECENT service. And the worse thing is the table behind us were like a group of 5 guys who were doing after office drinks and they had bascially shared mayb 2 main course and even requesting them to cut up the wraps.. but the service was sooooo nice.. are u biased towards foreigners? Anyway ok the food was decent, lamb wrap for my bf was apparent quite 'filling but was like $15 or smt which i can get at $6 somewhere else.. and my chicken tikka was like $18? chicken was quite juicy but too little... wld have preferred mroe chicken to bread.. but the bread is quite yummy and u know my bf will nv complain abt having extra bread. i really like the green mint sauce though.. a bit sour.. i think there yogurt or smt.. quite fresh taste.. but becoz of the very bad service u get a thumbs down................ …Read More
